I have a permanent ileostomy done in April 2022. I've had a few issues with getting my appliance to stay on and not leak. I've discovered that if I use retention tape over the extended adhesive material on the flange it helps to keep my flange on more securely. I've had several abdominal surgeries in my life and my abdomen has lots of dips and curves along with surgery seams. When I had to have a permanent ileostomy done a year ago this past April my surgeon warned me that it was going to be tricky because of all the scar tissue I have inside. I can get my flange and bag on but I've discovered that using the retention tape around the falange it help to keep leaking a little more manageable. The retention tape is easy to use and comes off pretty easily as well. If I feel like I'm having a hard time getting it off I just use an adhesive removal pad and it comes off with no issues. I use the 2 inch wide tape and cut it the lenghts that I find what works best for me. You may need to play around with it to decide the lenghts that work for you.

Our elderly father fell and broke his arm. He had swelling and abrasions on his whole body. This tape worked so well! It keep the blood from leaking out of the bandages overnight. Also, it was strong enough to stay on even though he tried to pulling it off. Highly recommended.

If any of you ladies out there are looking for boob tape but something better than any of the stuff that’s actually markets as “boob tape”.. here’s your solution. There’s a learning curve to putting it on without ending up with a waded wasted mess, but there’s enough on each roll that it’s okay to waste some of it. This stuff lasts for days, through showers and sweat, ( not the workout kind, you’ll still need a sports bra there). I’m a D cup and this stuff holds me up very supportively and comfortably. Something I learned the hard way… rub some lotion on your nipples before taping or OUCH 😬 No more uncomfortable sweaty bras or rub rash! Happy taping! 😁

This tape is great. It’s so much more flexible and comfortable than other medical tape. It sticks really well and doesn’t irritate my skin. It is a bit hard to get off, so if you have very fragile skin, it may be rough on it. You may want to use skin prep to protect your skin. I’m using it over non adherent gauze to hold medihoney in place over my breast cancer surgery incisions. Working well.

This is a good value for a Medipore Tape style adhesive. It's what I need for some unique chronic skin issues. My skin also tends to heal faster when I use this style of adhesive instead of other options.

Paper can be easily peeled off. The glue is super sticky. Stay on skin well, even it is lightly applied lotion. Once you put it on a gauze, you don't wish to take it off. However, it can be peeled from skin painlessly, though, there is some glue residual on the skin.I think it may have to work in this way if you want the glue stay moistualized.

This product is the perfect size for large dressings/gauze. It sticks very well to the skin and dressing/gauze. It is a little flimsy and I’ve ruined a couple of pieces because it stuck to itself when peeling the backing off. Forget about trying to pry it apart. The good point of it being flimsy is that it bends to the way the body moves. It is easy to remove and doesn’t cause much discomfort. The grid on the backing paper helps with cutting straight lines and ensuring the same size is cut each time. I recommend this product.

Liked the fact that the bandages are non stick and soft. That the adhesive is also soft,breathable and has the grid on back for easy measurement. That the peelable paper on the back of the adhesive is divided down the middle for easy separation in half circle formations (have to look for it). Adhesive is easy to remove from skin. Two very good products!
