Fisher-Price "My First Books Set of 4 Baby Toddler Board Books (ABC Book, Colors Book, Numbers Book, Opposites Book)

I purchased these books because of the Fisher Price name, them being hard board kinds for my 9-month old. However, we have stopped using these because the patterns and colors are so confusing. For eg in one of the pages in the Purple Hippo book- two pages have the same color pattern and one points to color red while other points to yellow.. so confusing .. I will add the pic too

Babies love the graphics! The Big and Small book came with some Fischer Price item that we purchased when my son was an infant. He was colicky and hated the car. This was the only thing that kept him happy. We actually called it “magic book” in our house. After several months of getting beat up and taped back together from constant use, I needed to find its replacement. We came across this pack. My son loved all the books but “magic book” was still a favorite. They are small and simple, but that’s what made my impatient child like them.Now with baby number two, I knew I needed to order another set. At 12 months, she walks around the house carrying them and hands them to any adult near before crawling into their lap and waits for you to read them. These a staple in our house because of their size, portability and simplicity.

I bought this set of Fisher Price books together with their other set, which is also 4 books. When they first arrived, I assumed that this set was more sturdy: the cardboard pages are much thicker. But after a month, this set was falling apart. Not only did the pages come loose from the binding, but my grandchildren (aged 12-18 months) started ripping off bits of the paper (and of course putting it in their mouths...)Bright and cute, but much too fragile. Buy the other Fisher-Price set instead. The babies love the carry handle and so far, they're bearing up very well, despite the relative thinness of the pages.

I really like the books however the ABC book is missing H thru P and instead has pictures of the monkey and alligator from the colors book. Check your books as soon as you get them for errors!!!!

Cute books. Good colors. But, they have no durability. We bought these for our one year old and she has been gentle with them and they didn't make it a month before the middle section came out of every one of them. Baby books are meant to be used, and these did not last without falling apart and now have to be taped together to even be enjoyable. Definitely not worth the cost at all.
