Mystic Space Playmat, 90 x 90cm

I’m new to the board gaming hobby and after finding out about playmats, I was looking for a cool looking yet generic one to be able to use with any game. While game-specific ones are pretty awesome, I just wanted a one-size-fits-all option for my gaming needs.It’s the only playmat I’ve ever had so I can’t compare quality but it seems of standard neoprene high quality to me. For me, it looks great and cards really pop off the dark design really nicely. I’m very satisfied with this playmat.In the US, this playmat is pretty expensive with all of the shipping costs coming over from UK. Luckily, I got a ‘used’ one which supposedly was supposed to have ‘light cosmetic damage’ in one of the corners but I couldn’t find it. Thing looks new to me. It came in a box/tube which was in terrible shape but that obviously doesn’t matter.If you’re looking for a single (cool looking) playmat that works and is 24”x24” and can get it used or without all the shipping charges, I 100% recommend this one.As it currently stands, (at about $45-55 with import shipping), however, I cannot recommend it at such a steep price as you can probably get equivalent playmats much cheaper.

I don't know what else this could be better at. My husband is a gamer and he enjoyed playing games with his buddy using this mat. It is big enough for the two of them to play on together. We really like the pattern. Seems high quality. We didn't have any trouble with the corners curling like some other reviews mentioned. This fathers day gift was a huge hit!

I like this dark starry theme, fits the Arkham Horror vibe as well as other sci-fi games. But mostly its not so busy with graphics that you lose your cards in the chaos, it makes the cards pop instead. Quality of the neoprene is nice, not too thin or thick. Really keeps the cards in place and makes it much easier to pick them up. Although card mats are never necessary, I am glad I bought it.

I am always getting compliments on how beautiful this mat is. Ultimate Guard makes such quality products.My only complaints are that the mat is way too thick, like a yoga mat. Because of its thickness, the mat remains curled at the edges since I got it. It just won't lay completely flat.

I use this for Star Wars Unlimited and Marvel Champions. I love that it's not a busy pattern. It does have a rubbery smell, but it has dissipated over time.

BRIGHT and AMAZING print quality. Most space-print things I own are pixelated and blurry (and I own A LOT of space-print things), but this one is clear and perfect! The mat is also thick and well-made. Much better feeling than some of my other playmats. Ultimate Guard makes awesome products and this is no exception. I only wish it came in purple :(

Excellent playmat for Magic the Gathering! It is made of thicker material but it is not too thick to be noticeable to others and doesn't feel bulky. VERY high quality print. I've gotten lots of compliments on it!This mat fits in a 15.7 x 2.5 x 2.1 inch playmat tube. (I got Monster Protectors brand)Hope this was helpful!

This game mat is perfect for most board gaming. It is especially good for any LCG. It measures 3x3 feet, and provides a nice flat surface for rolling dice and deadens the noise. I would not recommend using it as a writing surface though.The only negative I have is that the edges are uncomfortable and scratchy when I rest my bare skin on them. I typically wear long sleeves or a hoodie, so this does not really bother me at all.
