Good Value for the Money
I bought a 10 pack of these 5 months ago and they've been fine. I haven't used all of them yet, but I keep reusing the silver one and it hasn't failed despite adding and removing files on multiple PC's. I use it to hold drivers and install programs. If you're concerned about it not running fast enough, you can plug it into a blue USB2.0 or 3.0 slot on your PC. It is not rated for high data transfers - those items tend to have the "Extreme" and "Extreme Pro" moniker. But it's just a flash drive so you shouldn't expect it to be used for high-data transfers.

Very thoroughly tested using 3 different methods. These worked perfectly.
I once had trouble with flash drives that looked similar to these, but these were fine - perfect, in fact. As with *any* new data storage, I *always* reformat the device using "not quick" options in order to 100% test the entire data space; so I did that on each one. Never do a quick format which just "book ends" the data space without writing to every bit. After formatting, I run a USB testing program on each drive. For Windows operating systems, I like "Flash Drive Tester" Version 1.14 (it's free). Following the running of the tester, another long format is required because the tester destroys the formatting. After the 2nd reformat, I fill the drive slam full with data and run Windows "Check Disk" with the options checked for testing all the data while finding and repairing any bad clusters. So, all this may sound tedious, but it's not nearly the waste of time that loosing data is. If you find problems (and you may sometimes), you should throw the flash drives in the trash. Using a bad flash drive is like climbing with a rope that's half cut through - the only different is that the cut rope may actually work. Here are the results for these 10 flash drives (64MB): -All formatted fine -The flash drive tester found no problems anywhere -They reformatted fine a 2nd time -I filled them to the brim with data and ran CHKDSK. No problems found. I was pleasantly surprised. Off brand flash drives can be QA rejects or fraudulent. I needed some cheap "able to give to my friends" flash drives, so I went out on a limb for these. It worked out great.

Convenient Size, but About 10% Failures
Bought this size because it was just what I needed and was economical to buy in bulk. Two out of twenty had write failures, but doing a full format restored proper operation. These are being used to handout some informational material so archival life span is not important but may indeed be just fine.

good value
I bought these to transfer vhs tapes to digital and discovered they didn't have the capacity for the tapes . The recorded part was just fine but ran out of space before the vhs tape did. I think these would be great for anything but video. I have since bought larger capacity drives for my purposes. The quality is there just not enough space for my use. I will keep them for other uses in the future.

These are super nice!!!! Went through a wash cycle, too.
First of all, I like the fact that they won't get sticky over time since the outside is metal. I also like the fact that a red light comes on when it's active, then when you click on eject, the red light blinks until you remove it. This is just a very high quality little thumb drive!!! Update: This drive went through the washing cycle, with the lid on, and works fine. I waited 7 hours for it to dry, then plugged it in. Not recommended, but good to know.

These are cheap and do not work. It would show up on my iMac and PC, but would not open on the iMac. Gave me an error code saying untitled cannot be found. Pc opened it but gave an error code saying something along the lines of daving files to it will be problematic. I ran a first aid on the usb and nothing changed. Will be returning. Such a waste of time.
