Ich habe dieses Buch gekauft, um mich auf die CISSP-Prüfung vorzubereiten. Kurz darauf habe ich entdeckt, dass (ISC)² auch eine eigene Lern-App anbietet, die meiner Meinung nach deutlich praktischer und interaktiver ist.Für mich persönlich hat sich das Buch dadurch als nicht unbedingt notwendig erwiesen – dennoch ist es gut geschrieben und eine sinnvolle Ergänzung zur Prüfungsvorbereitung. Ich freue mich, es in meiner Sammlung zu haben, auch wenn ich im Alltag lieber mit der App gearbeitet habe.Für Lernende, die gerne mit gedrucktem Material arbeiten, sicher eine solide Wahl.

Essential for Base Knowledge
I just passed the CISSP and found that this book did the most in preparing me. Everyone is different with various backgrounds so I cannot speak to what others say, but in terms of speaking from my experience I would say this book moderately prepared me for the test. I read every chapter and did all of the exercises at the end of each chapter. I also used the official practice tests book and activated the online Wiley questions from that book. Definitely practice questions and do a lot of them. Do not just memorize the answers but understand the logic behind it. In addition, I read the Syngress book "11th Hour CISSP 3rd edition", though it is getting out of date, hopefully they update it because it is a really solid reference book. I took notes, writing stuff down helps. Studied for 5 months and did no cramming. If I can pass it, then I know you guys/gals can pass it. Just do the work and do the time. The reason I typed all of this was because the most open reviews really helped me in purchasing the write materials to help me pass along with coworkers who also passed.
