Rainbird quality all the way
This was my choice for an outdoor 4-station home system. My intent is to go wireless and the less expensive model didn't get very good good grades for that. The installation was easy and the instructions are clear. The interface on the box for programming and control is just plain simple. There are mechanical switches for the major functions. However at the same time I got this, I got the wireless module and used that for my setup. I'll need to review that separately, but it just worked, as well. The build quality is just as good as you'd expect from this brand. In fact it is replacing a Rainbird controller that is at least 30 years old.
