The bird's head band seems to be made from felt, which I could've made myself for about $1. The wings are made of very thin & sheer lace or laser-like material, and the design on them is hard to see...especially if in a low-light room. They then sowed elastic straps on the shoulder & wrist areas. I believe I could make this costume for under $5. For the price, I didn't expect much, but it could've been slightly better quality & color.

The wings didn't stay in place on my son's arms, so unless you were looking at him from behind, it looked like he was just wearing a cape.

I am not sure how this is priced as it is because it was very cheaply made and we were worried it would rip so returned it immediately.

I ordered this costume because of the wings. I thought they would be nice and lightweight and capable of movement. The wingspan is so small that the finger holes do not reach both hands. There is so little fabric that the wings will not be convincing..
