Sizzix THoltz Thinlits Die Haunted

I did not realize when I purchased this die how much work would be involved, but I have no complaints or regrets! All these small parts, shutters, shingles, door hinges and knobs were difficult to keep up with, but the final results were well worth the effort. Do note: I consider myself a newbie with die-cutting and someone with more experience would have breezed right through the process. The fact I was using glue complicated matters more, no reflection on the die. The dies cut easily with 65 lb card stock and only one pass through my Sizzix Big Shot. The paper showed the alignment marks for adding the additional color, things such as the shutters, shingles, hinges, etc. I chose black with grey as my first try, but may try different Halloween colors when I do some more. (I may try adhesive paper or a spray fixative also!) All in all, I'm pretty happy with the final result and look forward to creating more.

Very nice and detailed die of the house. Just large enough for a Halloween sene on a card. Works well in my Big Shot. Tim Holtz dies are ready to use. The dies do not need to be separated and rough edges filed as other brands do. The dies come with a sturdy envelope for storage. Arrived on time and in good condition.

Top quality, fun Tim Holtz die. Easy to cut cardstock.
