Giving 4 stars
When installing these on the front of a 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500, you are required to reuse 4 screws that are already on the vehicle. However, once you install these mud flaps, those (4) screws are now too short. There is no thread left to keep them on once you've added the bulk associated with the flaps. My husband now has to wait until Ace hardware up the street opens so he can go pick up (4) screws of the correct length.NOTE: for the installation on the rear, you will need a jack. The instructions don't tell you this, and they also don't tell you that you will have to potentially remove both rear tires in order to do the install. If you have a 90-degree drill, you will be ok when drilling the first couple of holes but the rear tire DOES and WILL get in your way. It will be necessary to jack the rear of the truck up so you can move the 90-degree drill around the tire from the other side to continue drilling holes. If you don't have a 90-degree drill, you will have no choice but to remove the tire as there isn't enough room.We just got these so I cannot provide a sufficient review on quality and durability yet. We live in Arizona so we'll see how they stand up to the sun and the heat.

Good product; pain to install
I installed these on a 2013 Silverado extended cab LT 4x4. The mudflaps themselves seem to be of decent quality and fit appropriately for this vehicle. They do look sharp on the vehicle. The hardware that accompanied these left much to be desired. I stripped the heads of 2 of them using a screwdriver. They seem to be cheap aluminum screws. I used steel sheet metal screws and washers bought at HD. The directions could also have been a little better. These are not a 'no drill' type of mudflap. You do have to create some holes to attach these. I would also recommend removing the tires but it’s not absolutely necessary. A pro would have no problem installing these; a novice might get a bit frustrated. Overall not a bad product; just frustrating.

Looks great and works great
These worked just as intended, and fairly easy to install. The only real recommendation I can give is that you should lift your truck and take your tire off to install. It's not absolutely necessary but it will make lining up the parts for drilling 10 times easier. All in all I was finished in less that an hour. Well worth it

Great for a “stock” fender
They seem like an excellent product however they did not fit my truck due to “fender flares” that had been put on my a body shop when fixing rust on the rear fenders. They are slim flares not the typical douche ones everyone has so I was hoping they would have fit but definitely not even close. Not the products fault just didn’t work for me.

Holding up well after 9 months.
You might have to drill an extra hole here and there, but no big deal. Forget the clear decal 'paint protector'. I had a hard time making it stick, and it peeled off anyway. I wouldn't bother with it - no need for it. Otherwise, very satisfied

Fit my 08 Silverado ext cab
Instructions are very easy to follow, minimal tools needed and look very clean once installed. Have held up well to the Arizona trails. Easy to clean up too.

The fit is perfect but the screws provided were too long and too ...
Just installed them last night. It was tough! The fit is perfect but the screws provided were too long and too soft. Despite having pre drilled, the trucks metal was much tougher than the screw. Not surprised being that it's a Chevy Silverado! ' And, I had to removed the wheels to install.

fit well
You do need to take the back wheels off to drill the holes needed. Fit well on 2010 chevy 1500 4x4 Would buy again. Have had then on for 3 weeks and used them on over 100 miles of gravel roads, working well.

Not as durable as i would have liked
Easy install, good fit, and OK price, but not as durable as I would have liked. Installed a full year and one of the units has cracked. I don't recall hitting anything, but hope that is what did it. Might have been snow and ice loading in the winter. However, I'm thinking about flexible rubber units now. Want to avoid replacing every year.Update, 20190917, the adhesive clear plastic paint protector that is to be placed on the painted fender before installing the mud guards has lost its adhesive and looks like crap so I removed it. I wouldn't bother with that paint protector again. Otherwise remaining mud guards ok.

Great mudflaps, crap mounting screws
Like other have noted the screws that come with these are absolute crap and the threads strip out. You're better off getting stainless steel self tapping screws and washers (still drill a small pilot hole with self tapping screws). Or what I did was use stainless 10-24 bolts with nylon washers and stainless nuts with nylon thread locks. Drilled the holes in my fenders and covered the exposed steel with bed liner. Bolted everything up and good to go.The flaps themselves are great quality. Seem very durable and fit great. I'd give the flaps 5 stars.I have side steps/running boards on my truck. And in my case (yours might be different) the side steps are about 1/2" too far forward and push on the front mud flaps. Not enough that it matters, and not the mudflaps fault, but just an FYI.The included instructions are clear. These would get 5 stars but they cheap out hard on the mounting hardware. They should increase the price $5 and send better screws, ruins it having to go to Home Depot

Not so heavy duty
Not so heavy duty, good for rain and snow but good old Alberta gumbo pulled 2 off and cracked one just from the weigh.
