ASICS Kid's Matflex 6 Grade School Wrestling Shoes

Ok, I'm writing this to help other parents with the confusing size chart. My son wears a size 12 in kids sizes (AKA 7.2"). I ordered "Big Kid 13". It was the perfect size for him and the actual lable on the shoe says "K13". Don't worry whether it says "Big Kid" or "Little Kid", they are just regular Kid sizes shoes. Now about the shoes. They are great shoes of the highest quality.

We purchased these a week ago. Got them for my almost 4 year olds first year of wrestling. They look awesome and look like they fit well. He loves them and they seem to be great quality. They do run a little small, he wears an 8 or 9, we got size 10 and they have some wiggle room. Would definitely purchase again.

I ordered these for my 11 year old daughter who has just started wrestling. I was worried about ordering them online because I was concerned that they wouldn't fit. I read all the reviews to get an idea of how they would fit, and that helped me out a lot, so that is why I am writing this review. My daughter normally wears a womens 7 in other shoes and I ordered the big kids size 6. They fit like a glove. Absolutely perfect. They are also very good quality, especially for the price. My older daughter used expensive Dan Gable wrestling shoes, and these work just as good (in my opinion), for a fraction of the price.

These are great wrestling shoes! My son is currently in a size 1 in regular tennis shoes so I ordered him a size 3 in these and they fit perfectly with a little room to grow!! He says they are very comfortable and loves how they look.

Awesome color, but the shoe runs narrow and VERY small. My 9 year old measures at a size 3 but he likes his sneakers loose and we buy him a size 4 in his regular every day sneaker.So, for wrestling shoes, I bought a pair of the Matflex in a size 4 and they were far too tight and even when we shoved his feet into them, his toes go right up to the tip. So we needed to actually go up a size and bought these Matflex shoes in a size 5 and they are still pretty snug and narrow, but at least his toes aren't squashed up at the end. Wish there were some easier way to get these shoes on and off too— we have to loosen the laces up a lot to get his foot in and then re-tighten. It's such an ordeal at every practice.

My 9 year older wears a size 4. We got him a size 5, (in big kids) fits perfectly.My 7 year old wears a size 13, we got her size 1 in big kids and it fits perfectly.I was really unsure whether to size up or down based on reviews. I highly recommend to size one size up. These shoes are awesome. Super affordable, stylish, and my kids love them for wrestling practice.

My 7yr old is on his 3rd year of wrestling - and 3rd pair of shoes...he needs a new pair each season :) This is his 3rd pair of ASICS and they are good shoes. No sizing issues, no quality issues. Decent price. Easier to shop on Amazon than to take him out shopping :)

The sizing chart that is provided is not helpful at all, after reading reviews, I originally bought a size 3 because the reviews said to buy 2 sizes bigger and my son is a size 1. The shoes were about 2 inches too large and there was no way he could wear and wrestle. I then ordered a size 2, also too large. I ordered a size 1 and it the best fit but still a bit big. Other than that the shoe quality is good and he likes the look.
