Pro Shot.22-.270 Cal. 11/8" SQ. 500CT. Patches

I have used other patches sold here on Amazon, but recently decided to try the Pro Shot 2 ½ round patches, and they are far superior. Below is a photo of the two respective patches, and note the difference in quality between the Pro Shot and the other brand when viewing the clean cut edges of the Pro Shot patches as opposed to the other brand. Also, because the Pro Shot’s are finished on both sides, they absorb better, and you can even get extra usage out of them by turning them over as you get toward the end of cleaning the gun’s barrel. I highly recommend this product.

While I’m still not quite sure whether I prefer these over the jersey/t-shit material patches I was using before (The Professional’s Choice brand), they seem to do pretty good job. They are the thickest patches I’ve used, which definitely gives them superior absorption, and the flannel texture is great at scrubbing and grabbing up fouling. As a few others have mentioned, and as is typical with most any flannel patch, they do have some fraying at the edges, and can leave behind a *small* amount of lint in the barrel (not enough to actually be a problem, but worth noting).While it’s difficult to tell for sure, I think overall they do just a bit better job at cleaning out the bore, so I’ll probably stick with them. If you are someone who is concerned with any amount of lint leftover, I’d highly recommend the brand of jersey patches mentioned above instead.

These patches come in various sizes and that's important when cleaning a firearm. Many cleaning problems are related to not using the right size patch for the bore. Ill-fitting patches leave lint, do not scrub cleanly, and can leave residue. I have two sizes---3-inch and 2 1/4-inch, which cover most of my guns. Enjoy!

I bought these due to the amount of people that state how good they are. I had high hopes. I got 250 count of 2 1/4 in patches. They are like cleaning your gun with a Husky! Every inch is covered with lint, hope you have a lint roller to clean up the mess.

these are ok. i thought they would be a little thicker. they are about like cheap t-shirt material. slightly disappointed with them.

Good patches, hold up well. Doesn’t seem to be leaving lint or stray strands behind. Will order again

Well made and consistent. They cost more than "4x2" but well worth it.I put a hundred into a jar and soak in cleaner so they're ready for use.
