Best fish flake brand
I, and my fish, really love all Omega One fish flakes. They are super fresh, smell proper, and are from Alaska (where the fish are caught) rather than the Midwest (silly). I believe they are still an independent company, and really make a superior product.

4 meats with Kelp and Spirulina
Although Omega says this food is Veggie Flakes, their $7.29 food (2.2 ounces) lists “Fresh Kelp, Spirulina” as the fourth and fifth ingredients by weight, after “Whole Salmon, Black Cod, Halibut, Whole Herring.” It has additives. In my survey of 435+ fish foods, adjusted for moisture percentage, Veggie Flakes costs $9.61/$153.70 per dry ounce/pound, ABOVE my current average cost per dry ounce/pound of $127.39. I feed and give Veggie 2 stars for its meat and veggie content. In my zeal to add a 2nd flake food, I reordered more of this, when I already have several ounces left! Apr 22, 2022

Great product, my fish love it.
Even though the primary ingredient isn't plant matter, my tangs still love it. Omega One always has great ingredients.

Great food
I keep a breeding colony of fancy guppies and I want to give them a variety of foods to keep them happy and healthy. I only use the Omega line. I added these green flakes to the normal fish flake, brine shrimp, and blood worms menu. They eat them up! The food has a strong veggie smell, reminds me of kale. Happy buyer.

Perfect for Mbuna
I have 2 tanks of Mbuna. I use this as a supplement to pellets. On my 125 I feed only the flakes 2x a week to mix things up and keep the tank clean. For my 60 I feed the pellets in the AM flakes in the PM. I’ve noticed an increase in fish color in both tanks. Will def continue to purchase.
