If you are a fan of pepper like I am, then this stuff sounds fantastic. In reality it's just ok. I bought it to add to my coffee and have tried it on pancakes as a syrup. The pepper taste is mild and the base syrup is sorta like a molasses flavor. The combo makes for an acceptable though not fantastic taste. My bottle did arrive sticky so it may have leaked a little and now it is stuck closed. Definitely wipe the bottle clean after use.

This purchase took a great leap of faith on my part because, I am a "hot/spicy" wimp. In a sudden rush of reckless abandon, one day, I took the plunge and added Black Pepper Rich Simple Syrup to my order. This delicious peppery syrup has turned my morning cup of java into a spicy delight. I froth up half and half mixed with Black Pepper Rich syrup, pour it over the coffee … YUM! Now, all we need is for Blank Slate to come up with a sweet salted syrup for the sweet n' salty cravings that creep upon us every now and then. I recommend everyone try this delicious syrup!

I never thought I'd be able to make the perfect Dalmatian cocktail (2 oz vodka, 2 oz grapefruit juice, 3/4 oz black pepper syrup, in a shaker with ice & just pour into glass after giving it a few shakes) at home. I was wrong. This syrup is EVERYTHING!

Wonderful syrup! Tastes delightful on vanilla ice cream...or in a nice cup of coffee!!! Highly recommend
