Great value.
Excellent fit. Good quality. I buy these for my dad every year. He always wants more! He wears them with his work boots and they fit her perfectly. They don’t slip/slide down.

Great Dan Post socks
These are 80% cotton, 17% Sorbtek and 18% Lycra. I bought a pair years ago and they are still in great shape so I bought two more pairs of Dan Post socks. I could only find them in mens sizes. I wear woman’s size 8.5 so the mens size 10 was a little too big in the heel but they feel great in my knee high snake proof boots. They stay up well and come up to just under my knees.

Great socks
I’ve purchased these socks many times in the past. I have horses and wear them every day with my boots. They are comfortable and hold up well.

They don’t slide down
Our son wears these for Cross Country and Track. We’ve purchased multiple pairs for him. They never slide down, always stay in place. Perfect weight, not too thick or thin. Great product!

Darn good cowboy boot socks, BUT ...
Update, 3-5-19: Went to dermatologist and apparently the compression bands on these socks at the foot, ankle and calf that hold them up are strong enough to break your capilaries which results in the redness and itching. So it's not an allergic reaction as I first thought. It seems that older people like me are susceptible to capillaritis from compression hose and socks with compression bands. So be forewarned.Update and Warning, 3-3-19: After washing these socks in our normal detergent but with no softener as the instructions suggest, I developed a severe rash on my legs where the compression bands are located. If you have sensitive skin and are prone to allergic reactions from certain chemicals or fabrics you may want to think twice before ordering these socks. I'm not lowering the rating because they are good socks. They just may not be for everybody. I've had the rash for more than a week and it is proving to be difficult hard to get rid of even with prescription meds.Initial review:I usually wear white crew socks from walmart or carhartt with my boots but dislike that they don't come to the top of the boot. So I got a pair of these Dan Post cowboy certified boot socks in 10.5 to 13 size. A word of caution, they are slightly thicker than my crew socks so if you have boots that are a tight fit or fit perfect with regular crew type socks these socks may be a bit too thick. In my case I picked up a pair of new boots the other day that were a little on the loose side with my crew socks. Those new boots fit perfect with the Dan Post socks. I usually wear a size 10.5 D or 10.5 EE in cowboy boots and I can see where a person with a larger foot upwards of 12 or 13 might find the 10.5 to 13 size socks too small and hard to put on. I don't like to give 5 stars for anything and it's early in my use of these socks so that's the reason for 4 stars.
