Can you actually lean back on the seat? It doesn't look like it really supports you at all.

Hi there, you can indeed lean back on the seat. The seat is attached by 2 sets of straps which hook onto a set of D-rings. The seats are also fully adjustable and you can tighten or loosen the straps to make it comfortable for yourself. If you scroll through reviews here you will see comments left by customers about exactly this, people do seem to be pleasantly surprised.

Is there a weight rating for this board?

The above info on the 10'8" board says max weight of 410, but the manual in our box says 240...

How much does it weigh

That's really hard info to come by but from a couple of youtube reviews, the 10'8" size weighs 28 lbs., and the 12' weighs 32 lbs. I don't see that as a negative b/c it means it has many PVC layers and dense internal stitching, but if I were a person under 150 lbs., or completely out of shape I might struggle to carry it from car to water if already inflated. I don't see the weight as an issue if a person carries it in the backpack and inflates at the water's edge
