It's rare to encounter well written, cohesive erotic stories that can hold your interest 'till the very end. Something Forbidden manages to do this. Though overall the tale is simplistic and relatively predictable, I found myself wanting more with each page. This story is not plot driven, but instead follows the lustful awakening of an average couple, which allows them to walk a thin line on the edge of risky behavior that often puts the foundation of their relationship in jeopardy. Readers will find themselves questioning just how far the protagonist will go to make his dirty fantasies come true. Also, not to mention, Something Forbidden is packed with steamy scenes that will get your blood pumping!Some things that could have used a little improvement:-Better physical descriptions of the protagonist, Max. I felt like I got only a small idea of his appearance and I'm sure it would have added to the erotic nature of the smut-based scenes to have a visual impression of what he looks like.-Better set up for the "plot twist" at the beginning of the story.-Slightly more dynamic scenes. Too many situations occurred where two people are just talking and discussing things, rather than having some suspense built up or other interesting things going on while exposition takes place.Overall, a must read!

Hard to say more than what's already been said. This is well written, well thought out and filled with beautifully constructed imagery and description. The main couple appear to have better communication skills than most, but completely believable scenario and well developed characters. I found myself wishing the wife would 'stray' a bit from the agreed 'guidelines' just to add a little more tension to the plot and provide something of a challenge to a seemingly perfect 'team' effort on this new sexual endeavor. I found her a little too concerned or protective of her husband's ego at times....particularly when the subject of her new lover's 'size' came into play, and her multiorgasmic experience after the art show. Would have liked to see her 'push the envelope' a bit more.
