its a nice feeder. i go thru feeders fairly often bc the nite i forget to bring the feeder inside, thats when the bear decides to come for a snack. what i notice on many of these feeders is that the openings where the bird pecks for seed, really should be larger. this is on most of them. so my seed has fruit and nut in it and the nuts get stuck in the openings and i have to loosen it so more seed falls thru. its a pain but i do it anyway. so all in all ....yes i like the feeder and so do my birds.

I have this hanging on a shepherd's hook. It looks nice and we'll see how it holds up to the Texas sun this summer. Birds have no trouble landing on the rails and getting to the seeds. Great value for the price!

The H Potter Fly Thru Bird Feeder is VERY nice but the birds do not seem to care for it unfortunately.I like to change feeders every season and downsize from the larger feeders feeders we use in the summer to smaller feeders in the fall. I purchased 3 of the H Potter Fly Thru Feeders because they looked amazing for the price and had such great reviews so I thought to give it a go!While I was impressed with the quick shipping, great packaging and overall look and quality of the feeders, as soon as they arrived, I assembled one of the feeders and had set it out to find that the feeder is simply too small for even the little guys. The feed has remained untouched since setting it outside because the feeding area is actually too small. We have a family of sparrows, chickadees and titmice who like to dine together, however with nowhere for the birds to comfortably perch and enjoy their food they clearly do not like this feeder because they have to sit IN the seed to eat, and it can only fit 2-3 of the little guys whereas the other feeders we were using accommodated up to 10 of the little guys.Aside from the lack of seating for the little guys, the bird feeder is otherwise as described. It is elegant, sturdy, takes only a couple of minutes to assemble, has an over-sized hood with a nice bronze color with over-sized brass hook. The diameter and height of the feeder is misleading though. It is indeed 14 inches in length measuring from the very top to very bottom of the feeder but the feeding area itself, below the large, 10.5" diameter hood, which drops down low, leaves only several inches in height for the actual feeding area. Larger birds such as Cardinals, Jays and Starlings cannot eat from these feeders since the actual feeding area is very small.Other than this, the feeders are nice and for their construction they come at a good price but I will have to return them as they are not practical for the cost since none of our birds are interested in eating from them.

Love the fact that it's easy to fill. One twist on the top and hang it up. The birds flock to it and I listen to them chirping all day. It's sturdy, with plenty of feeder holes, and had for the squirrels to get anything out of it. I now have cardinals, chickadees, and even some Goldfinch. It was reasonably priced and of solid construction. Very happy with my purchase!

I have to say, it falls far short of my expectations. This feeder feels like something you would find at a 99c store rather than a quality bird feeder.Firstly, the design is quite basic and uninspiring. It comes fully assembled and ready to hang, but the black plastic construction lacks any aesthetic appeal. It simply doesn't add any charm or beauty to my outdoor space. The hexagon shape and inclined roof, although intended to provide shade and protection from the elements, seem flimsy and poorly constructed.The capacity of this feeder is advertised as holding up to 2.15 lb of seeds. While this may sound impressive, the actual functionality is lacking. The seed tray doesn't effectively distribute the seeds, and it often becomes clogged or unevenly filled. As a result, birds struggle to access the seeds, defeating the purpose of the feeder altogether.Moreover, the quality of the materials used is subpar. The twist lock cover, meant to keep the lid securely closed, feels cheap and unreliable. It doesn't provide a tight seal, allowing moisture to enter and spoil the seeds. The clear panels, although intended to make it easy to inspect seed levels, are flimsy and prone to cracking or breaking.In terms of maintenance, the instructions advise checking for insects or fungi weekly and washing with mild soap and water. However, the feeder's construction makes it difficult to clean thoroughly, and I have found it challenging to remove accumulated debris or residue effectively.Considering the price I paid for this bird feeder, I expected a much higher level of quality and functionality. Unfortunately, it feels like a cheap, mass-produced product that lacks durability and aesthetic appeal. I would not recommend this Black Plastic Classic Bird Feeder to anyone looking for a reliable and visually pleasing addition to their bird-watching experience.

These are small, but the birds love them and the squirrels are too big to get on them. Look good, recommend.

For the price, it’s sturdy and does the job. I’m happy with the purchase.

This looks great, hangs up neatly under my tree and...the crows, squirrels and blue jays can't get in-too small a platform. It is easy to clean, easy to fill, easy to open and close

Nice feeded, easy access to fill with seed. Have had a few birds and unexpected was a Blue Jay feeding from the feeder.

The birds live it.

Arrived broken, I am expected to pay to return it.

Because or it's, the squirrels have a hard time accessing and the raccoons stay away from it. The birds are very happy and the seed lasts longer than a day. Love this gem

A variety of birds are already visiting the feeder so that’s a good sign. It is sturdy, easy to clean and fill. The design adds class and blends in well with either copper or any color.
