My son and I got these for our summer trip to the Mediterranean. The beaches we frequent have coarse sand, rocks and the sand can be hot. These neoprene socks were a complete game changer and worked really well and better than expected! Wish i had found these sooner. These sand socks allowed us to get in/out the water more easily and were easy to swim with. We could walk on a variety of terrain easily with them - larger rocks, sharp stones, rough hot sand. We even hiked along a steep stone beach trail with them and they were great. The Velcro closure worked well to keep sand out. The grippy pattern on the bottom makes traction on wet rocks really good for climbing. I got a black pair and my son really likes the colorful pattern. After wearing these constantly with rigorous hiking they are showing some wear but these did hold up better than another brand that I bought and the neoprene was a bit thicker so they were more protective. The Velcro strap on the ankle also kept sand out more effectively than the pair that I got that didn’t have this feature. These won’t last forever but we’ll worth the price! A great product!!

I've never worn booties before while swimming in our cold Midcoast Maine waters, just a wetsuit with water shoes, but I took a chance on these because my toes do get cold and my feet sometimes cramp up. The did the trick! However, I still had to wear water shoes over them because the thin sole did not protect my feet from our rocky beach. A little bit thicker would be great.

I wear a size 13 shoe. I ordered XXL, which is supposed to fit men's size 11 to 12. The XXL booties fit fine, with about 1/2" of extra toe space. I bought them for wearing while jet skiing. They should be fine for that. If you're planning to do a lot of walking on beach sand, they may be OK. If you're going to be walking on rocks or need protection from sharps, you probable need something with more substantial soles.

Fit perfectly, well made and comfortable. I will definitely be buying a couple more pairs. Keeps my feet from getting too cold in the river. Keeps the heat from the sand off my feet. A good purchase. Well worth the price.

This was hard to put on, even with size large, but once on it was way too big and didn't work. Update: The seller contacted me and offered a full refund, even without returning the socks. I never expected that from a small company. I requested a bag to return them. Kudos to them for trying to treat customers above and beyond what is needed! God bless this company even if I can't use their products.

Used these on vacation with Cressi flippers and they worked great. The rubber some didn’t really hold up but the neoprene is a very good material and did not get compromised. Did very well keeping the sand out of the shoes as well.

I use these with my fins in lap swimming. Without them I get blisters on the top of my toes. These are jut the right size to prevent that and not to big to make fins too tight. They are great. This is my second pair - first ones later about 18 months with 6 day a week wear.

I use these kayaking and the heels quickly wore out but might be fine for other uses. fit was great.
