Reinforced 115mm Wheelbase Carbon Fiber Bottom Plate Spare Part for Crux3 3 inch FPV Racing Quadcopter Quad Drone

Way stiffer then OE frame. Feels great.

The bottom plate on my Crux3 broke on an impact in a grassy field. I was surprised that it broke on such a soft surface. It's probably because of how thin and light the stock plate is. This new plate is thicker and reinforced right at the spot where mine cracked. I think it will hold up a lot better and would probably withstand the same crash. The added durability will make up for the added weight.The fiber pattern on the new plate is nicely aligned with the arms and plenty stiff. There is no chamfer, not that I would expect or want there to be.All the hole patterns match up perfectly with the stock plate.I would have given 5 stars, but have two small issues. One is that the new thicker bottom plate interferes slightly with the USB. You can see in my attached photo. I filed that part down maybe 1mm or so, and now it fits, so it's not too big a deal.The second issue is that I wish it came with new motor mounting bolts. I hadn't thought about needing new bolts, but the stock Crux3 motor bolts are too short to use with the thicker frame. I've ordered some new bolts and now need to wait for them to arrive to complete the repair.It would be nice if the frame came with appropriately sized bolts. I would gladly pay a few dollars more to save the hassle of sourcing new bolts.
