So easy to set up
These bags are great! They work just like advertised. Hoping they can keep my trees going through the dry season.

Drip hole?
Inspected dry bag carefully. Difficult to see/find drip holes. 😕 but when tested by putting water in, tiny drip hole was found. Filled up, and now waiting to see how long full bag lasts

Quick to empty
A little difficult to set up and fill, then empty too quickly. Don’t really accomplish the slow steady watering goal.

These have survived a summer of drought, with up to 80 mph winds!
We have a piece of property with a delay in the ability to put water on site. However, we also had some growing trees. This land gets about 15-20 inches of rain a year, with some incredible amounts of wind. We were pretty concerned about installing these bags and them just ripping to shreds and blowing away. They have survived multiple episodes of 75mph + winds that go on for over a day! We used plastic zip ties (dark ones last longer outside) to secure them to T posts between two trees at a time and also zipped them together. We wanted to encourage expansive root growth as these are NOT trees in their first year of planting. Bags were filled generally once each weekend and it would take at least a 12 hr period for the water to fully leak out. We are thrilled with their performance under what we feel are some particularly challenging conditions. This plastic is heavy-like a decent grade tarp. The stitching isn't cheap. Now I'm sure it's a good idea to be respectful of the zippers. If they are sticky for you (and they were for us) you may want to consider rubbing some wax or a candle over them. But I will ABSOLUTELY recommend these to others, and I'll definitely tuck them away over the winter and keep them for new trees we install next year.

Watering trees
It is thick material, great zipper, stands up straight to let water dribble out. Used for 3 weeks on three trees and every other day. I think these new trees would had died or suffered if we didn't get in this hot august weather.
