One of the strap slots snapped right away during install. We made it work but I would’ve thought the mounting points were more durable. Just tighten the mounting strap slowly and bend it as it becomes taught so there is less shearing force on the plastic where the straps go through.

Fish finder now works like new. Easy to install.

I think hummingbird could have put a little more meat on the portion that the clamp goes through. One good bump and the unit broke away from the clamp. Now I need another.

This is the second of these I have bought from amazon. The work amazingly well with my system. The last one broke due to hitting a submerged rock with it. So it's not typical to have to replace them often.

I finally got to use it last week and DI is great!
