Digital clock

The Digital clock with a large display has so many functions it's really quite a value for the money. This is the third one that we've bought. One of the best functions is when power goes out, this clock keeps time, no resetting required. Day, month, temp, alarms, dimmable and easy to set, what more can you ask for.

Solid alarm clock through and through. It serves its purpose quite well and it has a host of nifty features programmed into it. You can adjust the brightness level, so that it's non-intrusive and dim, but still readable. A nice thing about it is that on the first minute of every hour, the display brightens, which is useful because it grabs your attention and helps to prevent you from losing track of time. You can set up to 2 alarms, which is also helpful and can serve as a safety net so you don't oversleep. I think the feature that I appreciated the most was that in the event of a power outage, or if you unplug the clock to move it, it remembers the time and date you had it set to, and syncs it as soon as you turn it back on. I've had this clock for roughly 5 months and it hasn't gone out of sync with other clocks, either. So if you want a good, easy-to-use, reliable, reasonably priced alarm clock, this is your best bet.

This review is for the wired version with the white and green text. I have two issues with this clock. One, it has a mirror finish on the display. I don't mean like a glossy black plastic like it should be, but a polished silver mirror finish, just like the mirror in your bathroom. The LCD numbers are bright enough to overcome the mirror finish, but in a really well lit room or direct sunlight, forget about it. Two, it doesn't come with a USB power adapter, just a cable with a USB-A end on it. This was not clear in the listing, just a little bullet point on the description which I failed to read. In my defense I own a fair amount of USB powered devices, but this is the first time I've bought one that didn't come with an adapter. Luckily I dug up an extra one. Other notables: - The numbers are large and easy to read, as long as there's not a lot of light reflecting on the mirror finish. - There's a good number of brightness steps, five I believe with a sixth off step. However, I suspect I'm going to have issues with it needing to be at full brightness during the day, due to the mirror finish, which will then be too bright at night. - There is a removable plastic protective film on the display. I had to really pick at the edges to get it off, and at first I thought I had received a used and scratched unit until I thought to check if there was a film on it. It was not clear at all that there was a film on it. There was a tiny piece of tape, but when I pulled the tape, the tape just came off by itself, so it was not obvious that there was a film on it. EDIT: I've had this unit for a few years now and I don't have any complaints. It's actually been working great and as long as it's not in direct sunlight, the mirror finish is not an issue at all.

Nice big number, multiple brightness settings and even has the date and temp! One of my favorite Amazon purchases this year!

Love the size of the clock and the ease of setting it up

Best desk clock I have ever owned. Keeps perfect time, doesn’t need to be reset when the power goes out, and it is highly visible from anywhere in the room.

The clock has a nice big display. But it does not change time automatically for day-light savings, and it keeps moving ahead about 2-5 minutes earlier than it actually is. Just ok.

El reloj es muy bonito, hay comentarios que mencionan que se apaga solo o que tienen que hablarle o presionar un botón para que muestre la hora, pero creo que esto solo aplica para el modelo inalámbrico. En mi caso, el modelo es el que va conectado directamente todo el tiempo mediante un cable USB, y siempre permanece encendido. El brillo es muy fuerte, lo que lo hace ver muy bien, pero se reduce automáticamente en la noche o uno mismo lo puede hacer a la hora que sea según el gusto. La temperatura marcada claramente es la que la está en el interior de la habitación, lo digo porque también observé comentarios donde se compara con la temperatura que marcan los celulares, pero esta es exterior y obviamente no coincide con la interna. Los materiales se sienten de gran calidad. Además, tiene varias opciones de sonidos de alarma que no suelen ser las típicas de los relojes, tiene alrededor de 35 opciones y van desde sonidos comunes de alarma hasta música clásica. Excelente compra, y más barata que opciones similares.

Very nice product. As others have said, the display is nice and crisp just like in the photos. I bought the black, wired version with the blue digits. The power cord is of the USB "A" type, and it comes with a compatible USB power adaptor so that you can plug the clock into a wall outlet. The power cord is 52 inches long, and it can be made to come out of the back, bottom or side of the clock. The clock was very easy to set. Recommended.
