Saint Brigid and the Cows

Beautiful book and story.A good teaching on humility, kindness, and selflessness.

A great story, one I hadn't heard, and doesn't sound stiff or sugary. I bought a copy for my grandchildren and another 2 for the churches that I attend children's rooms. Saint Brigid's story would be enjoyed by many children 4 (read to) and up - even high school age would like this book and this saint's life.

we love this whole series, it's all out of print again (for the second time) but we managed to collect used ones. The pictures from the 1st publisher (St. Anthony Guild Press) are the same as in the second publisher (Neumann Press). They are hand drawn, they are entertaining for adults and kids. Longer book,but they do keep your kids attention.

perfect for my 1st grader. she loves animals and I love her learning about the saints. beautiful books and stories.

for ages 8 and up .... it is a long book .... too long for a 3 year old. But it is beautifully written.
