5 stars for the latex cuticle guard theory. One star for my left-handed painting abilities, zero stars for my patience.It takes time, patience and some precision to use it properly. Obviously if you get the latex on your nails the polish doesn't adhere to your nails in those spots. Personally, I lack the patience required for "at home nail polish art" and I must need to be held hostage in a salon to achieve great looking fingernails.I applied, removed, reapplied the latex multiple times because it seemed to take forever to dry - my fingers kept sticking to each other removing the latex when I tried painting it on my other hand. I'm not exaggerating- it took me over an hour just to paint latex on one hand, let it dry with my fingers outstretched 🖐 then carefully paint my other hand and letting it dry the same way. I mostly wanted the latex on my fingertips underneath my nails to keep the white tip "French manicure" polish from bleeding under my nails and cuticle edges.Three hours later I was using a cuticle stick, wrapped in tiny bits of cotton, dipped in nail polish remover to clean up my "at home manicure".Maybe it's easier to use if you're painting it on someone else's nails, so I'll invite my daughter over, take her car keys away and force her to sit still for a couple of hours (😉)

While the product itself worked as advertised, I didn't really like how quickly it dries. Yes, this can absolutely be a plus, but the latex tends to dry up on the brush too quickly, leading to chunkiness and uneven application. Most of us ordering this product do it because we struggle with messiness in application, so applying it exactly how we want to on the first try is going to be really hard. You either need to make absolutely sure the first layer has dried off before adding more (and even then, you can still melt off that layer with the wet latex) or just deal with the chunkiness.The reason why I'm giving it 5 stars with all this, is because this is still a better product than most liquid latex for nails out there. Yes, it gets chunky, sure, but that is hard to avoid with ANY liquid latex product. And at the end of the day, if you take your time and do it slowly, it absolutely works for what it's intended for. Doing French tips has never been easier (although I still need to go in with acetone to clean it up afterwards, still gets most of the work done).Another bonus is that the little pick it comes with is really cute, and the blunt end works as a cuticle pusher. I do use it to take off the latex and works as intended.It's overall really good for what you can expect from a liquid latex protector.

Work great, I have the whole Beetles system including their UV light. The system that works for me is: dehydrator x2, primer, base (uv), builder x2 (uv btwn coats), color x2 (uv btwn coats), top coat (uv). Do thin coats of anything that needs uv or else it can burn. Takes about an hour to do my own nails but I am pretty particular about shaping, filing, cutting cuticles, etc. so that is a lot of my time. This dehydrator and primer are a large bottle that lasts a long time even using two coats. They dry super fast and the brush is nice and short to allow for precision application. Have great results using this system have only done my nails 2x in three months. Get yourself a good soak off to remove these! Really love the extra tools that come with this set as well!

Dried quickly. But, if your fingers happen to touch accidentally, the product will rip apart. And you'll have to apply more. So be careful when you're working with it on. Dries clear. A bit clumpy even after shaking vigorously. But, overall it worked as expected and as advertised. A bit tricky to peel off, will leave some residue behind. Just use a brush tool with some acetone to clean up and it is all good.

I want to start off saying that I decided to do my nails again (it’s been years) to save money in the long run, so I’ve bought tons of new products. Liquid latex was on the top of my list for something I wanted to try since I don’t have extremely steady hands.As soon as it arrived, I tested it. The product applies just like nail polish and took around 90 seconds to completely dry. I purposely painted a bit on my nail and on my skin on top of Beetles Liquid Latex in a U-shape. Using the stick provided, which is colorful plastic (cute-looking design!), I lifted up the product with the diagonal flat end and peeled it off. Due to its elastic consistency, the product came off very easily and quickly all in one swoop.Beetles liquid latex worked perfectly! No more messing around with nail polish remover and cotton swabs or a brush. This handy product will definitely save time and cut out any anxiety or stress someone may feel because of little mess-ups when painting nails, designing nail art with brushes, using stamps, or using sponges for ombre. I purchased two bottles, but I know I will reorder Beetles Liquid Latex as soon as my current supply runs out. It’s an extraordinarily useful low-cost product that I highly recommend!

It states it's topcoat is no wipe, however when I finish drying it with the lamp and I know it's totally dry, it's still sticky. But on the plus side the bottom coat is nice and sticky so, that's good. My real issue tho, is the shine after I put on the top coat, it barely shines, I remember this brand having a beautiful shine. My non UV cheap dollar store top coat did a better job. The durability I am unsure of, but i am pretty hard on my nails and it's held up so far so that's good, it's a good topcoat and cheap, maybe mine has a defect, idk it don't bug me enough to return it.

Used this product for gel x nails and they popped right off! Usually I’d have to file off a good amount to thin them out before removal but this product removed the nails without needing to file. It removed all of my nails within 15 min without any of my natural nails splitting/breaking.10000/10 would purchase again
