This is, without doubt, the best kid’s book series on Judo anywhere in the world. The bright colors and animated characters are perfect to be naturally appealing to kids. But make no mistake, the technical knowledge contained in the books is anything but childish. If you are looking for a book that you can use in teaching Judo to kids, you simply can’t find better than this series by Olympic medalist Nik Fairbrother.(Trust me, I’ve looked.)This is what my local Judo club recommends to any parent that asks, without hesitation. If you are teaching judo to your own young kids (like I am), buy the entire series. You’ll thank me later.

Love the format and the animated videos in their website. If you are a beginner this is the book for you. Complex Judo moves into a simple teaching method. This is not only for kids, adults can learn too. Excellent book! Highly recommended for all ages!

Excellent book to help kids and inspire them!

Books by Nik Fairbrother are always amazing and full of good images and descriptions and this one was no exception. It was bought for our niece (age 10) but sadly she never got it as my husband kept it! A very useful resource for any age group.

Easy to understand for kids and adults with step by step illustration with some nice drills. Reading it with my granddaughter who is just start her judo journey. So good I had to but the whole series.
