Tough little spool - broke the first one after 4 years and about 200 dives! well worth the money! Bought this as a replacement.

To be fair it has good line and an excellent stainless steel clip hook. BUT...I unspooled the line to check the tie-down to the inner bobbin and it was not tied around that bobbin. So I tied it properly. When I went to reel the line in, it just got completely snagged and jammed when I went to try to unreel it to tighten the line up. Now its pretty much useless. Made cheaply..but it is what I paid for! Got a much better, professional dive reel, but paid for that!

Very strong for a plastic reel,including the line it came with. This reel is quite bulky, I would prefer something lighter/thinner with better durability and functionality.

I'm using this as a long anchor line for a kayak and it's working great. Strong enough that when I got my anchor stuck, the anchor tooth broke off before the line broke... and much longer than any standard rope coming with a kayak sized anchor.

I bought this to use a an anchor mechanism for my kayak. I cut some rope out of it to make it easier to reel in since all the line barely fits and only does if it's tightly and perfectly wound. Otherwise works great for what I use it for.
