This anthology was nothing like I’ve ever read before. It’s like science fiction and horror all mixed up together.Every story was good in its own way, but I had two favorites:“Haus” by Garth von Buchholz scared me with its portrayal of out-of-control technology.“Subroutines” by Phillip T. Stevens sent chills up my spine for its combination of computer programming and eerie haunted house.The book is well-edited for a smooth read. And the cover rocks!I am giving this book 4.5 stars. I think a reader who enjoys science fiction would probably give it 5, but the anthology is a little out of my reading comfort-zone. Still, the stories are entertaining, and now I’m eyeing my Alexa with suspicion!
