I bought this skimmer to use in our pond, and it has been great! It came with its own pole, which is a big plus—no need to hunt for a separate handle. The pole is lightweight but sturdy, making it easy to use without feeling heavy or awkward.The net itself does a great job catching leaves, small twigs, and other debris, and it’s held up well to regular use. I really like that the whole setup isn’t bulky, so I can grab it quickly and skim the pond without any hassle.Overall, a well-made, easy-to-use skimmer that works just as well for ponds as it does for pools. Really good pool skimmer net, however, I previously purchased this net back in March 2024 and it had to be replaced in September 2025, so it only lasted 18 months (1.5 years). There were small vertical tears around the four corners of this product netting. I must say, the small netting is excellent for capturing small particles or objects when skimming the pool. I repurchased because it is a good product overall and it was on sale at a good price, so I repurchased.

Very tight weave, helpful when scooping dead algae or active fish. We have a traditional net which works well for leaves or larger items, but this particular net served its purpose. We used these on a goldfish pond and a koi pond. The handle is sturdy and long enough to reach a good six to eight feet out. I am happy with this purchase.

I love this pool net. It’s lightweight and I can use one arm. It has about a 6” deep net which is perfect for light quick debris removal. It is a good price and much better than the flat nets.
