Not Worth It
If you are looking for a good way to grout your next tile job get a grout float and sponge. This is a great concept, but not any easier to use. It is frustrating to fill little bags with grout and then once you finally get the grout out the plug is near impossible to to remove. The driving plug used is wooden, in a wet environment, no bueno. The plug swells and now it takes an act of congress to reload the tube. Not to mention you will still have to go after it with a sponge anyway. All in all I pulled out my grout float and did the job in less than half the time I wasted with this chunk of PVC.

Sadly did not work well for me
Very difficult to load caulk in the narrow zip bags. I found it pretty useless. I read and followed the instructions.

Works Great! Prepare Caulk Gun - if caulk gun plunger ...
Follow the directions and it works! It seems there may be some not following the instructions (as they can be hard to see) on how to use the Injector.I've placed them here: Works Great!Prepare Caulk Gun - if caulk gun plunger is larger than Injector Tube unscrew and replacewith Plunger Adapter washer included in accessories bag.STEP 1 - Mix well with no lumps! Just like if you were using it on a trowel. Insert Bag into Tube and fill. For ease of loading use a cutoff milk jug as funnel. Remove excess air from bag and seal. (the Bag must be zip-locked completely) STEP 2 - Load tube into caulk gun and adjust gun plunger pole down "Snugly" only on grout bag until you see the bag bubble at tip. IMPORTANT! Don’t compress Gun forcefully until pierced (Step 3) or bag will explode.STEP 3 - To use - pierce Bag from threaded hole with screwdriver and hand tighten reducing tip. Ensure bag hole doesn’t shift when screwing on tip- if Grout doesn’t flow repeat the pierce process. If bag is leaking from rear repeat seal process.Hope this helps.

Better than a grout bag for me.
I am a journeyman electrician and a jack of all trades and this was my first time doing tile. I did the upper portion and cielingand used a grout bag. Huge hassle and mess. This time I figured I would try the Groutenatoras it made sense that it should work. I used Laticrete black grout and mixed it about 10% wetter than the directions. I mixed in a quart cup 800 grams grout to 160 grams water. It perfectly filled the liners as you can see in the photo. We used a cut milk jug to fill the liner. Then we dropped it ijn the Groutenator an loaded it into a Millwaukee cordless caulking gun. I was able to do about 6 square feet at a time. Its still messy but it pushes the grout nicely into the gaps. I am very happy with how it all turned out and I wish I would have had the tool when grouting overhead. Also be careful not to make your grout too thick it will push the little red cap off.

stay far away from this thing!
This is a completely cheaply made POS! I tried to use this as directed and almost no flow came out. made extra holes and same thing. Plus it split along the seam, just as described in someone else's post. This is nothing more than a bedazzled pvc pipe. It did not work for me. it failed and is now garbage. Stick with using the Grout bag.

Great idea
I had a small tile job with some large and some tiny pieces. Tool did a fine job for the most part. Some ares had to still be done by hand. The bag concept needs some more work. The plunger kept cutting the bags and left some grout behind the plunger. On cleanup the label cam loose and water began running out the side. Hoping I can fix it with a pvc connector. Great idea still needs some work.

Life changing!
We loved the Groutenator. After hearing about it from our local Home Depot guy, who used it in his bathroom, we bought one. It did exactly what we wanted it to. Our understanding was that the grout we bought would cause scratches to the tiles, and also that it set up way too fast. So, we were advised to buy this product. My partner did an incredible job AND the grout lines are much cleaner than what I was able to do on my last job with the typical grout float and sponge. We highly recommend this product - would definitely use again, no hesitation. Life changing!
