Koh-I-Noor Mechanical Pencil Short Clutch Diameter 2 mm Black

This is a quality little pencil. It is about 4" long, which is also about the same as the little container that the June Gold colored leads, which are 3 1/2" long come in. I love how compact those 2 items are and how much potential they hold in that little space. Very portable. One thing that does happen is the clip on this little jewel of a pencil, does rub on your hand if it is turned the wrong way. I could easily remove the clip, but it doesn't bother me enough to do that. I just turn the pencil so it is out of the way. I just thought I would mention it. 2mm clutch is my all time favorite pencil. Great for small hands. I am not sure how someone with large hands would feel about this item. Make sure you check the measurements. The combo of this item and those June Gold leads would make a great gift for an aspiring young artist or minimalist.

It's satisfying to hold and write it draw with. The size is perfect for stuffing it in a pocket, shirt, jacket or jeans. The built in lead sharpener wasn't obvious to me at first but it works like a charm. I bought this on recommendation from David Picciuto and don't regret it at all. Good call David! 👏🍻

Good overall build quality, same diameter as a standard hexagonal wooden pencil, but conveniently shorter. The clip is thin and weak (broke when I tried to bend it closer to the pencil shaft to attempt a tighter grip on my shirt pocket)— I replaced it with a more substantial clip (see pic) and like it a lot, now.

got this as a recommendation for a small pocket clutch to go with a pocket notebook. i do many physical things, so my pockets are a hostile environment. these seem well made, but time will tell if they survive edc.

I looked for a compact size lead holder for years. Somebody finally made one and I am so happy to find it! It's a great size for travel and everyday carry. I like the metal pocket clip and the lead pointer under the cap. It's a fantastic little pencil!

Love it! It's small , durable, practical and the red is definitely highly visible in a work situation. I find it absolutely perfect for the job I do, which is carpentry. I like it so much I bought 3 more to give to friends and co workers

I like to keep one of these in my jeans pocket when working, Nice to have a good thick lead pencil at the ready when you need to mark up some wood, I've found that with time the sharpener end and the writing end pieces become loose and unscrew in my pocket. They won't stay in place so I have to be careful not to lose a piece, Replacements are reasonably priced but take forever to arrive from Czechoslovakia or wherever they ship from.

I was going to return this because the lead kept getting stuck inside and wasn't at all usable. I couldn't figure it out so gave up and started processing a return. As a last resort, I took it apart and VERY CAREFULLY bent open the tines that hold the lead and it seemed to improve slightly. I bent just a hair more and now it functions flawlessly.You do have to keep everything tight from time to time like other reviews mention, but I don't mind this. It doesn't spontaneously unscrew or do anything unpredictable.The sharpener is decent enough to get a point. I like to use a dedicated pointer most of the time.I love the small size, and that's why I originally got it in the first place. It fits inside my small Rhodia pocket notebook and it's always there when i need it.
