This was a surprising find for me. I’ve read a few vampire romances but feel like they don’t go quite as dark as I was hoping. I don’t WANT friendly vampires when I read vampire romance. I want… whatever this book is.I feel like I should mention that this should come with content warnings. Lots of content warnings. But I don’t even know where to begin with them. The MMC literally starts off wanting to drink the FMC to death while 🍆-ing her, and yes, it is wrong and yes, it is exactly what I was looking for, and yes, their relationship only gets more depraved from there. (It does have an HEA and I promise it’s not 100% angst).The amazing thing about this story is that it feels like it was written on Literotica or something. It has errors and zero formatting (not even chapters in the kindle file - the paperback does not even have page numbers) - AND YET it held my attention from start to finish. I stayed up for several nights reading books 1 through 5 and at times I felt like I was personally being held hostage by a vampire (not a very nice vampire - but one I would easily be compelled to give anything to) and if those are the vibes you’re looking for then I recommend this.
