This feeder is a great start. It is easy to assemble (tighten the frame, very easy) and also easy to clean. I guess it can last for an entire season. The feeder may be expensive, but this price is reasonable. This is a high-quality feeder

Pros: lightweight, attractive, easy to clean; more perches/feeding ports than most (8 instead of 6), and my goldfinches really like it, and they are finicky!Cons: even though complete dimensions were given in the product images, I thought this was comparable in size to my old 8 perch/port Audobon feeder. I was wrong. With 15 goldfinches eating constantly, I had to fill this 3 times a day. It's just a bit too small. But if I had fewer birds, I'd keep it!

I would give this product ZERO stars, but in May 2023 we still do not have that option.This feeder was returned. It was useless according to the birds that tried it.The feeder is proportioned for birds the size of a hummingbird - No exaggeration here.The perches protrude through the wall outside the feeder approximately 1 inch. That is less than half the width of a sparrow.The holes (yes there are two per perch) are placed directly above this "perch" 1 inch, which means the bird would have to be about 1/2" tall in order to feed from this feeder.The construction is very thin flimsy plastic with even thinner metal top and bottom with no drain holes to keep the seed drained when it rains.26+ dollars (with tax included) is completely out of line with this product, even if the birds could use it, due to its flimsy construction.I returned it and bought the P. Pet Straight sided thistle feeder (tube feeder, yellow and black) for approximately the same cost.Wow, much better. On the yellow and black one's page it claims the material is plastic, but its not. ALL metal construction and large enough for several birds at one time.

I hate to say it but the plastic body of the feeder is very flimsy. Very thin could be easily breakable if one of my squirrels gets on there and knocks It Off. But you can't tell that by the pictures which is why I was hesitant for buying a feeder because I've been to the stores and they have a bunch of junk feeders too. It is a nice size and I do like the Copper Top on it but that's about it. Sorry folks. It just was not worth $25

We have had a steady gathering of finches since we put this new feeder up. They love it and so do we! Would definitely buy again!
