Q: Is this soft and mailable or really stiff?

3M has a series of these that the main difference is how stiff they are. The Blue is their most flexible one, however I would not describe it as being soft or malleable. It is flexible it will bend depending how much pressure you put on it. If you are looking for a stiffer one, try the gold one.

Q: For the ones that have felt pads, is the felt already installed or is it something you can install only if needed?

I ordered these and the felt was not installed and did not come with them. I would like to order them with the felt installed as pictured!

Q: Does this work on glass to remove water?

This is a firm squeegee, more for burnishing decals/stickers vs water removal from glass. Search 'glass squeegee' (or mirror) for the flexible rubber type I believe you're looking for.

NO THERE IS FLEX BUT MORE LIKE A SPATULA ALONG THE LONG ENDS,SHORT ENDS VERY STIFF..USED TO INSTALL SIGNAGE RUBBING OFF LETTERS TO A WALL OR WINDOW...BETTER FIND SOMETHING ELSE FOR YOUR CAR
