This clock is smaller than I expected. The bird sound that chimes at the top of the hour is a bit loud and 2 of the noises sound more like a alarm clock than a bird. It is a bit annoying at night, so I took out the bird noise batteries. It would be nice to have a volume control for the bird noises so it doesn't wake you up at night.

I was somewhat disappointed by the mechanical sound of the bird calls. I had a very realistic sounding bird clock that quit on me and I sought to replace it with this one. This is not up to my other clock's quality, but then I did not go for a more expensive item. This does the job and that is what counts.

Great to hear sounds of birds I've never seen.....

The birds sounds are not as authentic as my click I had for 15 years. I was particularly disappointed with the dove.

I must really be crazy to have bought this. The person I bought this for likes it and that's all that matters. just wish it shut off at night.

The clock works - but the bird sounds sound very tinny computer generated bird. My wife couldn't take the sounds anymore and replaced it with a christmas clock. I guess she enjoys christmas music year round more than the bad bird sounds. We have had a bird sound clock before from 20 years ago and those sounded great - these not so much.

Very happy with it. Works as it said it would.
