Our device is intended to offer a safe gentle stream of water through 4 converging streams via a trigger-handled spray bottle. If you have had your ears irrigated in the past in a doctor's office you are probably aware of either the large stainless steel metal or plastic syringe used to shoot water into your ear canal to dislodge ear wax. Some offices use a device meant for teeth that pulse high-pressure water to achieve this same function. Physicians also often recommend bulb syringes to their patients to use at home to dislodge occluded ear wax. All these devices all have one large single opening for the water stream that shoots the water in a straight line from the single large nozzle. These devices are usually successful in removing ear wax. The problem with the large single stream of water is that it can be very harsh on the sensitive tympanic membrane after portions of the ear wax occlusion are dislodged. Water hitting the eardrum directly with a strong force can cause dizziness and or pain. Our device designed by a Physician offers a much gentler stream of water from 4 small openings in the nozzle that creates a very turbulent cross convergent stream coming together before reaching the eardrum dislodging the wax. It is much gentler on the sensitive eardrum. Detailed instructions are included written by a physician as well as an otoscope to know when your ears are occluded with wax and also when you have them clean. The kit includes lighted ear curettes that can be used to remove stubborn hardened ear wax near the outside canal that is impossible to remove with irrigation alone. A BIG GULP cup works great for a basin NO need to waste money on an ear lavage cup. The otoscope is a much better investment of your $$ so you can see if things are cleared and do not have an eardrum perforation before beginning to wash your ears
