One of my favorite and top purchases in the EDC tool category.
I'm so glad I bought this. I LOVE this screwdriver/knife. They sell one that's larger and has scissors but honestly I've never used scissors that much and without them the size is perfect. If fits perfectly into the VIPERADE VE1 EDC Tool Pocket Organizer, or in my pocket. Seems sturdy. I tightened up the handle on my sliding glass door which takes a lot of torque to tighten and this accomplished that no problem. And if you leave it at a 90 degree angle to the handle instead of open fully you can squeeze even more torque out of it. (Not sure how much or if it's even recommended to use when not opened fully but it worked fine for me and still opens and closes as new and doesn't seem bent or distorted whatsoever. Good sturdy EDC screwdriver. Magnetically holds the bit in. Great color, great size, great usefulness, and great tool all around. I will order more as gifts in the future. Will update about durability and function after multiple uses. Probably my favorite purchase so far. I should mention the knife locks open but the screwdriver arm does NOT. Not a problem for me but maybe for others. It does fall into a divot or something when fully open so it stays open and you can hear it click in place so it doesn't just close from gravity or fall shut. Shipped on time. 5 stars all around.

Gerber quality
Purchased this to have as a small pocket screwdriver/nut setter combo for work. I work on a lot of HVAC where 1/4" and 5/16" screws are common place. I carry the tool along with the magnetic nut setters in my pocket on a daily basis. The slimdrive socket is magnetic so any bit you put in it stays in it, there is a lot of them that are not magnetic out there and you will loose your bits if your not careful. The offset angle of the driver does help a bit but is still prone to folding while in use but for tough nuts and screws I fold 90o for maximum torque. This would be ideal for HVAC techs and such. The knife blade is an added bonus.

Good minimalist multi-tool
I like my Gerber Armbar Slim Drive tool. It does exactly what any reasonable person would expect from such a tool. It is not a replacement for purpose-built screwdrivers. If you are building furniture, you should be using real tools. The driver on this tool is meant for light tasks (like tightening up drawer pulls, light switches, etc). It is a handy driver, and it works with any 1/4 inch bits including extensions. The driver does not lock, which seems to be a problem for a lot of people. I have not found that to be a problem yet, but I can see how that would be an improvement. The blade is excellent given the price range of this tool. It will meet the needs of any reasonable user, but will require occasional sharpening. I like the size and shape of the blade and find that it is handy for most cutting tasks. Mine came pretty sharp, but was razor sharp after a few strokes on a stone. The blade does lock via an internal spring liner. It is a little stiff right out of the box, but loosens up a bit with use. When comparing this against tools of similar size, price and toolset, such as a (Victorinox Tinker), this tool stacks up well. The blade and driver are superior to what you'll get with a Victorinox SAK. I recommend this tool, but Gerber could make some improvements. A locking driver would be the first thing I would improve. Second, I don't find the bottle opener useful, and it's awkward to use. I'd rather have the awl from the larger Armbar Drive.

Great tool, just needed a pocket clip for EDC!
I love the Armbar Slim Drive, but it doesn't come with a pocket clip so it just rattled around in my pocket. Luckily I found one from a seller on Etsy called Hacktical. Now this is an Every Day Carry knife! The little thumb grip piece made it much easier to open the blade, and the pocket clip fits great, and looks really slick on on the black. You can just search for hacktical or armbar slim on Etsy and find the ones. They seem to be the only one that makes it for the Slim drive and Cut.

Not worth the price
Ok I got this as a general purpose, 'wanted something besides my true Victorinox ones" and a little smaller than those and definitely not as bulky as a 'MacGuyver' multi-plier tool. However after having it and using it for 3 months here's the good and bad for this particular model since Gerber makes a few 'armbars now' some bigger and small ones like this one: *good size *nice having a double-sided bit/screwdriver "thus" the "in-line" armband name *blade is standard pocket knife and internal retention design. Decent functional. Though careful folding the leaf to fold it in if moving fast or tool is wet... Not so great... *Tweezers on this are useless. Flimsy and useless. So 4th tool on this is garbage *blade is okay, screwdriver is good. So that leaves advertised tool #3 the "bottle opener/other short flat head "tool." Its useless. Cause this is on such a pivot on one end and designed in such and inept way trying to sue the little quick 'flat screwdriver' part of this bottle opener part it keeps closing as you turn the tool. No good. Now this same tool as a bottle opener isnt great either because the angle of the lower jaw versus the upper part suffers from severe under-bite and the overtook is so thin that its just awkward to open a bottlecap with it. It works but you'll find you twist and bend the cap off instead of 'pop' it off. Real smooth with your armbar... Overall for the price this is a sad disappointment. Half the price great. But as Gerber keeps raising the price on this tool due to popularity its not worth it.

Best armbar
I have the trade and the scout. I like this one the best. Only downside is there nowhere to put a pocket clip but you can add a lanyard or a carabiner.
