Every pan I've tried has worked with this strainer! So easy. I microwaved these potatoes - so hot- but easily strained.

I kind of notoriously hate strainers. I have a small sink in a small kitchen and I find traditional bowl shaped strainers very hard to fit in a the sink and very difficult to clean. I've tried various sizes, shapes, and materials of full sized strainers and eventually resorted to just scooping pasta out of water with a forky-spoon (ladle with prongs), because of how deeply I hated having to make space for a strainer in the sink when cooking and then having to clean the stupid thing afterward. At some point I saw this and thought, "huh. that's a good idea." But I put off buying it for literally months because I'd been burned by so many strainer variations in the past, and it seemed a little gimmicky.Can't remember what finally made me buy it but it truly changed my life. It works so well, even on pots where it doesn't sit totally flush against the lip because of the handle placement. It's way easier to clean, because the sticky glutinous pasta isn't pressed up against the holes once the water is drained! And it's dishwasher safe, but I use it often enough that I usually just handwash it. Best of all, you don't have to clear out the sink to use it, and it doesn't take up the entire sink once it's dirty. Absolute game-changer. We threw out our metal strainer and I will never go back, even once I have a more reasonably sized kitchen.

It's great !! Saves on space and like it or not she goes in the dishwasher. The only issue is I make A LOT of pasta and it struggles to hold it all back. It needs to be a smidgen bigger

Loved how easy this was to use and clean and it just snaps right on! Definitely worth the money!

I burned my hands pouring hot water and pasta into a strainer in the sink. It was miserable. Once I got over the pain, I immediately went to try to fix it... of course this item sat in my cart for a long time but I decided to take a chance on it while putting in an order for Christmas.So far, so good. While I have only used it twice it has worked out well. The only things I encountered were that it was a bit difficult to clip on to my pot and that I had to make sure that the strainer part was pointed in a direction where water could not flow over the top of it. Other than that, it works like a charm. No more burns... at least from draining pasta!

Easy to use and handle the pot when pouring! I preferred it better than the traditional coriander! Bonus my eyeglasses didn’t fog up when pouring!
