Sanatogen High Protein Powder Original 275g Review: Five Stars - good Review: My dear old dad used to take this stuff back in the day when he was suffering with his nerves, and he always swore by it. They used to market it as a Nerve Tonic in the 50’s (you can still find the old tv ads on YouTube!) which seems bizarre to me since it’s actually ‘just’ Caesien protein powder which is an excellent quality food supplement.. maybe it made him feel physically stronger, and thus made him feel less nervous? Personally I bought it because Ive been dreadfully rundown after the winter, and have struggled to recover from a string of viruses. On the face of it I seem to have picked up recently, that could be the powder or I could be a coincidence - either way this is a high quality product and I believe it’s worth anyone picking it up if they’re struggling to get back to fitness. Don’t buy one box and expect miracles though, you’ll need to keep it up until you feel better!

Sanatogen high protein powder is a must for the winter, whether young or old I have been using it for years and a great to have it in reserve, you are feeling low due to ill health or feeling run down, it’s recommended.

I've been using this 'milk protein' (what exactly is in it, I don't know as it doesn't state on the box) for the last fortnight and so far I have not seen any effects on my body. I find it somewhat tricky to dissolve in a drink. Mixing it manually first with cold and then topping up with warm water is a rather labour-intense job, which I'm sure is doing my triceps good anyway with or without the drink. If one only uses hot water it gets rather lumpy, very much to the dislike of my junior. The product pure on its own doesn't taste for much, therefore I would advice to mix it with a strawberry-, banana- or chocolate-flavoured milkshake powder or a spoon of jam. I cannot agree with one of the other reviews in which it was said that it gives a great energy boost - on the contrary!!! I suddenly sleep more during the day. In particular in the afternoon I find myself nodding off reading a book which hasn't happened such as that before which I find rather inconvenient. Not quite sure if I will buy this again... Also, if one calculates the price per kg (around 30 GBPs) it's seems a little pricey compared with others.

Sanatogen is one of the old wonder remedies that is still recognised as a good tonic would definitely recommend for all ages
