Works great as a Makita Track Saw square!
Bought the Makita Track saw square of Etsy to square my track. This one is big enough to fit the bracket for that and it works great!

Solid and light weight
Very happy with this. I've needed a larger square for a while now. Looks like it will hold up for a long time.

These triangular rulers, ‘speed squares’ are like big brother and little brother. Parent and child. Both identical to each other apart from their size. A 12 inch and a 7 inch. They are made of a thin 9ish) metal, having no sharp edges, and can take a dropping or two, or an accidental scrape with a sharp edge. They offer measurements in both metric and imperial with the numbers etched on the metal with easy to see white marks. There are many marks on each side and it may look confusing but, once you know what mark goes where and how it’s used then you’ll be flying away with it. On one edges there’s inches. On another side there are CM and on the third, longest side, there are angles. Each reading easy to see and even easier to understand. On the bottom is what I will call the stand, being 23mm wide to stop the triangular rulers from toppling over. This stand can also be used to snag onto the edge of the material you’re marking so it’s flush. There’s even conversion tables on each triangular ruler. In all, there’s a lot you can use this for marking out such things as straight lines, angled lines and even circles. With all the markings and sizes there to be seen with ease. These may not be the best on the market, and not the best for spelling, but they are great for the price. Well worth adding to anyone’s tool kit.

I've used these a handful of times since having them and so far, they have done the job. I already owned a 12 inch more premium square and was looking for a smaller one but decided to go for this combo because it's pretty good value. The first thing I noticed was that they aren't as good quality as my current square, they are thinner thickness and don't have the markings engraved (just printed). But really you get what you pay for, and personally, I only reach for it a couple of times a year and I feel like these are 'good enough for my needs. I checked the square against a known square edge, and these are definitely square so no problems in that area for me. Overall, I recommend them for the average DIY'er but if you are going to use it commercially, I recommend you opt for a more premium set. I hope you found the helpful!

These squares are more on the cheep and cheerful side of things than a quality tool, but the price reflects that so you get what you pay for. They seem square checking them against each other as well as drawing a line and flipping the square over and checking it for reference. The issue is that the markings are just printed and not etched on the the square so they are likely to rub off with any amount of regular use. The other slight gripe is that they do not have mm and inches on both squares so the smaller one is almost instantly useless for a modern metric man like myself, as it is only marked with inches. A good size for the large one fitting between a roofers square and a carpentry square. For £20 odd quid they seem like fair quality to me.

For the money I would say that these are okay. The text is printed on to the squares rather than etched so I do not expect them to last forever and they are not exactly 100% square - comparing them to a known square there is a very very slight inaccuracy on both the large and small square - but this seems to be the case with many of these roofing squares as they are made for construction rather than fine joinery so the odd 0.1 degree does not matter too much. I can certainly recommend that any DIYer has a set of these. They are a real time saver and can be used for quickly marking or measuring workpieces as well as helping with assembly and clamping.

Since I've discovered speed squares I've obtained quite a few of them, so I always have one handy. These seem to be on par with the other brands I own, generally well made, and seem a bargain for the price. However there is what appears to be a mistake on the marking of the smaller one, whereby PIVOT is spelt very strangely indeed!!!
