Great story
I don't normally read romance stories. I prefer something with lots of action and real wolves...um...werewolves. That's why I picked up this series. Wolf was in the title so why not? Within the first few pages I realized that this was not a werewolf story, but by then I was hooked. A man being forced to marry someone he had never met because she was in danger and he could protect her. A woman who was forced to marry a man she had never met. Not to mention the man was a life long womanizer who obviously never planned to marry or give up his womanizing. And a woman who had a career all planned out and and a boyfriend she thought she would marry eventually. What's not to like?I couldn't stop reading and finished all 3 books in the series in as many days. This book made me cry more than I thought possible. There was so much anger and adventure in these two characters. They were drawn out so well I could picture them as I read.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance, with lots of ups and downs. Its certainly one of my favorite stories and one I will probably read again and again.

Loved it but…
Great story - I really struggle with cheaters but so love Penelope Sky so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did - i just want to say that I did remove a star for all the times that Arwen said her husband was perfect because he really wasn’t

Another win!
I fell in love with Arwen even more than Maverick. Her inner beauty was as bright as her outer beauty. But she was no push over little lady. Strong women are patient & will take only so much BS before they’re thru. I was most touched by her wanting to truly fix their family. Well done. I read all 3 books fast as I could. I haven’t even thought of looking for anything new. I’m loving going back thru your catalog.

Loved it
I'm a suckered for a great dark romance and this series is it.Arwen and Maverick are in an arranged marriage and while both despise the arrangement they both find qualities they respect and like within each other and their forced relationship.I love this book. This conclusion. I loved the growth the author showed between Arwen and Maverick but also the change in relationship between Arwen and Caspian, and Maverick and Caspian. It was a beautifully tragic live story that I devoured and enjoyed reading. It was touching and sentimental and also hot as ever when it came to Arwen and Maverick.I'd love a story with Lily and Kent!!!!!

I feel sorry for those who had to read the first two…
This was an experiment because I wanted to see how an author would reconcile cheating …lmao…. Answer is that they don’t …. It just goes away…. But surprisingly, that wasn’t what threw me off… it was the weird inner monologues from Wolf and the “advice” from Arwen. They are both unlikeable, though Wolf is worse.Spoiler-liteMemorable quotes:Arwen: oh he Threw his clothes on the floor because the servant would be in to pick it up in the morning…. Does he not have a basket? All this money….Arwen: do you buy your servants presents?Wolf: I give them jobsHuh? LmaoKent to Wolf: I get what you did but she just needs to get over it because you’re a good man….. this is in reference to wolf cheating with two women in the last book at the end. Idk…didn’t read that book. His dad to Arwen: Go back home to your husband; he’s done so much for you.Kent reiterates that too. There is this constant oh Wolf has done so much for her that she should be more accepting…..Arwen to Wolf: reconcile with your fatherWolf: he is a psychopathArmen: He lost his wife and just needs love…. Erm.I had my meme face on, the one where the guy looks over with the expression “what did you say?” throughout the entire book.Awkward award of the night:Arwen is on top of him and Wolf is like yea this is great. Let me give her back her ring. And mid ride she stops and pulls her hand back saying she isn’t ready. I felt so bad for laughing. Like that is so awkward. I felt the embarrassment. I’m laughing all over again.By the end, I couldn’t take the author’s insertion about the sanctity of marriage seriously….I just bumped it up a star because adding the quotes made me realize how funny this is… in a not funny manner, if that makes sense. It is just ludicrous. This book is just ludicrous.Three stars because also surprisingly, I did not DNF. Lmao…. Can’t recommend as everyone in the book, everyone….well lily and Abigail are flat so they are exempt. But everyone else is toxic. Thank you for KU. Lol

Good, but not my favorite series
This series wasn’t one of my favorites. I guess I don’t really enjoy an enemy’s to lovers romance, though I have enjoyed her other books. These characters lacked something...maybe it was depth? I was glad to see that Maverick got his family back.

Absolutely wonderful!
I enjoyed this series from start to finish. I was hooked in the first sentence in book 1. Bok 2 and 3 are just as good. I can say Maverick and Arsenal are a cave new couple. Highly recommend!

Totally scrumptious! 💕
A forced marriage. A vengeful father in law. Animosity on steroids. A divorce that won't be granted and indiscretions that won't be forgiven. Unlikely this turns into a beautiful love story but if you read this you'll be in for a treat! LOVED THIS. 🔥💕😍

Reconciliation and healing
This story deals with the emotional healing and growth of men who have never been allowed to be emotional. It was well told, focusing more on the relationships than on any external threat. All up I enjoyed the series.

Ummm
Well. I love this author, just getting that put there, BUT I found the first 2 books difficult. Call me old fashioned, but I believe in marriage, and I did find it difficult. Open marriage.... why bother being married.I would love to give this 5 stars, but the use of the word 'lovers' did get on my nerves, and MFC was difficult to like to start with.I wouldn't really again, but I'm glad I read them.

Anticlimactic and Disappointing
The last book in this series fell flat. Kept waiting for something to happen. The reconciliation was too sappy. I’m still questioning if Penelope Sky actually wrote this.
