LOTS&LOTS of info on this bra!! I own FIVE, and give bra measurements and LOTS of info!Read at leisure (:
This is a review that I have been wanting to write since I found this bra-BUT I wanted to make sure it fit and that it washed well. As you can see-from all the colors I have bought- this bra fits, almost perfectly-almost- and I REALLY REALLY LIKE IT! This IS a lengthy review....~It is so hard for me to find a bra-it is a nightmare really! AND I never order a minimizer because when they minimize, your breast tissue has to go SOMEWHERE, and where it goes on me is under my armpits! Saying that- this bra says it is minimizing, and it is to an extent, but NO WHERE on the tag, front or back does it have minimizer in writing-anywhere! I have posted pictures-hopefully they all downloaded-to show you the inches on the sides, under the armpit, and the inches in-between the cups. I found no information on either of those two measurements, so I wanted to share that with you.~The first bra I bought in this La Isla bra was a 34G cup, which is a size larger than I normally wear, and it was too small in the cup. It felt too large in the band, BUT I liked the look and feel enough that I ordered it in an 34H cup!! AND it fit-well.I have ordered 5 over the past three months and plan to order another white and black.~My size is average, 32" under breast measurement, 40" around the bust. I wear a size 12 in blouses and large to XL in shirts.~I generally wear a 34F bra. This bra does not come in a band length smaller than 34. The band is VERY stretchy and I have it on the last hook. I really needed a 32, but it does not ride high in the back so I ordered more. I KNOW they will stretch in the future, but I feel with the price being affordable I could buy extras and interchange -A LOT! Hopefully that will give me extra longevity with these bras.~The under armpit is on the high side, at 5". The odd thing is my right arm pit bothers me but not my left! For an experiment, I took one inch of wire out of the purple bra on the right side-it was a HARD JOB!,my husband had to take a SAW to it!-and I sewed it back up. That has helped, but I am not doing that with the rest! The under-wire is STRONG and the ends are coated with a heavy white gel.~My bras tack perfectly, laying against my chest. The measurement for that is 3" high.~These bras have vertical and horizontal seaming, giving it 3 sections. In the lower section closest to the armpit, the material bunches up. It does that on all five of my bras. There is a VERY thin layer under the top layer of bra, and it is the top layer that bunches. It was not properly sewn. When I first saw the bunching- I was NOT happy- then realized it had nothing to do with the fit.~What I have come to find with this particular 'minimizer' bra compared to my other bras is the cups are longer horizontally- so THAT is where all that extra breast tissue goes! It is distributed throughout a bigger cup, making sense that I needed a larger cup size!FINALLY....*This bra reminds me of a less expensive Wacaol bra. Although the lace is not very stretchy on this bra. The look is the same. VERY pretty.*It does hit high under the armpit, BUT it is something I can deal with-and hey I can always saw off an inch! ALSO, because it does hit high under the arm- you can see the bra when wearing tank tops ):*It tacks perfectly-yeah!*The straps are 1" and are comfortable.*I like the coverage. It is a full coverage bra.*They wash beautifully. I wash by hand. This bra for me is ALMOST PERFECT, but I feel as if there is NOT a perfect bra unless I had one customer made. I give this bra 4 ½ stars. They are very pretty, hold me up, look nice and are a great price.*I KNOW this is LONG, but when buying a bra, I NEED lots of information. I hope this helps some of you looking for a bra-Good luck! Lisa

First pretty Bra I have Ever Owned.
First...I am going to be honest and over share here. If anything less that perfect breasts offends whomever is going to read this review, look away. Look away now.I do not have perfect breasts. I have the less than perfect. I have ....long breasts (are long). The flap jacks. The flappies. The flippy floppies. The, "I am probably going to bruise my knees when I hit 80," kind. I can crack jokes about them now, because I am old and I have lost the Fs I used to have. When I was younger, however, I was absolutely ashamed about the size and shape of these. Not only were they too big to EVER fit into a bra I could just pop on down to wally world/target/standard clothing store to buy something in my size, my choices were ALWAYS brown. Beige. White. On top of that a lot of the choices made my chest look like 90's madonna/1950's rocket chests. ON TOP ON TOP of that, sizes were absolutely confusing and never consistent. 44 DD? No, you're a 48 DDD. No you're a 2.34.54.3 GFHZ.I have to tell you I saw this bra elsewhere on a website (was it buzzfeed? It might be.) And I noted it, but I did not buy it. I wanted to see if, to quote a tired quote, "the hype was real." So I waited. I waited a long time, watching the reviews and seeing how they came in. The overwhelming positive made me bite the bullet this week and get out the measuring tape.So I measured with my husbands help: my ribs, right under my breasts and the circumference, holding the tape as even as I could--both numbers for Inhaling and exhaled. Then I measured my breasts at their "highest" point. (Let me eye roll here. As long flappies don't really have them.) and that is around your ...I don't know if this review will get canned for saying breasts so many times. So I will just say areola area? Wrote that number down. Now, some measuring instructions for bras will tell you to then measure the highest point of your chest, with the tape right under your arm pits. I did not do that.I took my numbers and went off to 3 different well trusted bra size calculator sites...And got a different number for each one. BUT. That number was *almost* the same. So I averaged it out and behold--I apparently am NOT a 44DDD, but am now roughly a 44 G. All right. So. I took a deep breath, came back to the listing of this bra, and ordered it in pink. My FIRST non white, brown, black bra and to say I was excited and hopeful would be a little bit like saying water is wet. This bra arrived thanks to Prime within two days. It arrived in an undamaged plastic bag, and removing it from the bag I saw no strings, pulls, or tears. I immediately went and hand washed the bra and hung it to dry.The next day I decided not to go easy on this bra, but test it right away the hard way. I wore it to work.PROS: Pretty. I was so happy to see a range of colors that weren't just black, brown and white. Or off white. Or beige. Or ug, 'egg shell.'IT. FIT!!! It did! I used to have the problem where the band would fit, but the cup would runneth over, or the band would be too small but the cup would fit, or the cup SORT of fit at the bottom, but I'd have a huge flat gap at the top of my chest. NONE of this happened with this bra!It was COMFORTABLE. I have never encountered a wire bra that was comfortable with the shape of my chest. It did not rub, create a rash, or make raw skin ANYWHERE.The entire day the band did not crawl up my back! This is the first time a bra band stayed well into the middle part of my back.I did not have to adjust the straps out of the bag at all!I had no cup bulge or flatness. The shape really made me look 'normal' or at least, regular-ish shaped in the chest area!CONS: I don't know right now. There is a chance that you could get the wrong size, or rely on your old bra sizes and it might not work out. There's a chance the bra may not be comfortable or you might get a bra that doesn't hold up well. I can't predict that.RECOMMEND? I've worn it to work 2 days in a row. So far, YES. If that changes I will be sure to update this review. But so far, YES. YES!! I cannot believe how affordable this is and how pretty!!!

I Forgot I Was Wearing a Bra!
May I start by saying that this bra is the ONLY wired bra I've ever owned that doesn't feel like an epic torture device! I put it on, and it was so soft and gentle that I forgot I had a bra on.Now, the reason I wasn't able to give this amazingly delicious undergarment 5-Stars is because it isn't true-to-size. The underwire is too small for an H-cup. In fact, the wire hit my breast about 2-2.5" from my armpit, and stuck out (stabbing my underarm in the past process). I adjusted them so that the wire would be fully on the base of each breast but that only made them pour out of the center. Really, the bra is easily.one cup size too small. I only ordered one for the purpose of sizing, and now know to go up a cup!All-in-all it's a beautiful, nontorturous bra that runs a bit on the small side.

Do not buy.
Ordered a 36H. This bra is NOT supported at all. You will bounce all over the place. It's very cheaply made. I just wanted to see if a cheaper bra would be okay but this wasn't okay at all. I think most of the reviews on Amazon for this bra are fake. Returning it.

great fit and quality
great fit, the lace is good quality and comes high on the bust so their is no overflow, but feminine at the same time because of the edging. strong straps but not to thick like a granny bra. the lower material is doubled, with a flat material to the bust and a flower pattern on the top, go quality that doesn't itch because of the double laye. the wire under the arm from the cup lies nice on my body and doesn't dig in (like my last one). I have just ordered 2 more because the price is so good and the fit is perfect. my last bra was a 40H and cost a fortune from a bra shop (and when your this big you dont have much choice in a shop... old granny bra's are all they seem to have in my size), I dont have the money at the moment to go back to a shop when the wire snapped last week on my bra, so I thought I would try amazon, going one size up around the back with the same cup size because I have put some weight on. I ordered a 42H and thought it will last a couple of weeks for work until I get paid from work and can get another one. but it fits so good I have just ordered a lilac and purple one. so all -in -allI, I am getting 3 bras that fit great for the price of 1 from the shop. also, from amazon you can order different sizes to find your fit, and try them on in the comfort of your own home, without being embarrassed in the shop, when they only have 2 or 3 in your size. its been odd thinking what colors I would like, and not what will fit.

Waste of money and expensive to return
The most cheap and flimsy bra I have ever come across, sending it back costs £4.35 from the uk as they are based abroad, so not happy at all paying this much to return such a cheap and tacky item as it’s so flimsy and no support in it at allDon’t waste your money buying thisI have re ordered but gone for triumph ones that are perfect and paid the extra

Beautiful colour purple, but felt scratchy and didn't fit right
I have a Delimira bra in the drawer, and although it appeared to be the correct size, the underwire was always uncomfortable, for some reason. I was therefore, hesitant to buy another one, but I just fell in love with the vibrant purple colour! Why do companies always make bras for larger boobies or minimizer bras in such dull colours!Upon opening it, the purple colour was just as seen in the picture, but unfortunately that was all that was right with the bra. I usually take a 38DDD or 38E, but have pain issues, and have put on weight so wanted a slightly larger band size, so I went for the 40DD. I am assuming that the cup size was a bit too big for some reason, because underneath the central seam on the cup, it was very wrinkly. The material also reminded me of the bras I used to buy years ago, as it was very scratchy. After trying on the last setting on the band, I thought I'd try it on the smallest setting, to see if it made any difference, and I actually got "carpet burn" on my rib cage when I turned it around! It made no difference with the wrinkling. I tried on one of my close fitting sun tops with it, but you could see the wrinkling, and the seam lines. The underwiring felt weird too, and felt too low down under the breast, which was the problem with the other Delimira bra, even though the sizing was spot on with that one. I'm very disappointed, as I loved the colour, but I will have to return it.

Well made bra at a good price
A bit large in the cups at the side but the band fits without a stretcher. It's a very comfortable bra. However there are 2 minuses for me - the first is that the seams are visible under clothing, which I don't like. The second is that it doesn't feel as supportive as the M&S bras I normally wear. This may be due to the larger cups. I like firm support as I am a 34E and now I'm approaching 60, everything's trying to head south! Appearance-wise it's OK, won't win any beauty contests but perfectly acceptable as a support garment. The colour is more or less what you see on the monitor and the bra seems to be well made, of decent quality fabric. If I buy another I may go down a cup size.
