This one I like

This book covers everything you'll want to know for the foundation of material science and engineering. Great book that explains the concepts well and efficiently. I've gone to this book several times for covering topics I didn't cover in class, and the book did a great job of catching me up. I even used this for other classes like Fluid Mechanics or Heat Transfer. It's got it all. The example problems, while sometimes basic, provided you a great way to know if you understand the (wait for it....) material!

I needed a cheap textbook for my materials class. And I got it. Depending on your professor, it will depend on how much you use it; personally, this is one of the few textbooks that I have used for homework and studying for tests. It was surprisingly useful. My only complaint is that the binding has been falling apart since I got the book in Agust, so I need to be very careful with the book.

Well illustrated, clear and easy to follow text, and comprehensive introduction to Materials Science and Engineering. Only critique would be for more practice problems.

I purchased this for my Mat Sci class that started this week, and it wasn't too expensive. Plus the shipping was pretty quick. "Good" condition isn't perfect, but it suits my needs.

Book came in faster than expected and was in great condition. I was worried the book’s spine might not be in great condition, due to production issues, but it was all for not. Thank you for a great product and service

Great book. This is the text used in Florida International University's mechanical engineering program. The text has been extremely useful taking this course. It is easy to read, and has great examples, all while having in-depth coverage of the material.
