Great bully romance
I enjoyed this box set. The 1st book drew me in and I was glad to not have to wait to read more. The FMC started to get on my nerves though as the books progressed. She just repeats a lot which is a pet peeve of mine and she's kind of selfish. All in all I really liked the author's writing style and I enjoyed the boys! I'd recommend it to anyone that enjoys academy/bully romances.

This box set is for mature, of legal age readers.
If you choose to read the Kings of Mercia Academy, my suggestion is to flip to the end to get the bonus story offer at the end of book four. I would have liked to have read it nearer to the chronological order of the story. The bonus book would fit in well at the end of book three before reading book four. This book does not just have sexual scenes in it. There is a lot of sex. Sex between male and female, male and male, and male, male, male, and female. The main characters may only be between sixteen and seventeen years old, but they don't live the lives of your average teenagers. The characters are more mature in their experiences and in the emotional feelings that are not typical of average teenagers. Readers should be of a mature, legal age. This box set includes the four books plus the free book offer for the complete well written, interesting even without the sex, story of three boys and the girl who captures their hearts. There is cursing, sex, bullying, illegal activities, violence, and abuse in this box set of the complete series of the Kings of Mercia Academy by Sofia Daniel.

Addictive and kept you on your toes
A new author for me and I enjoyed her writing. She gets you hooked and wanting more.I devoured the bundled books in a few days!! I stayed up a few late nights as I couldn't put it down and then would start the next book.. The books have many twists and just when your like how much more could happen it starts to settle down to then another clue is out I want to say book three was my favorite.A must read and definitely worth it.I'm glad I found a new author to follow

I wish I had more than two brain cells and went to the authors page and ordered individually instead of getting this bundle. It’s very “teenagers that someone is trying too hard to write acting like adults” I don’t care for any of the characters too much, while there’s moments that I felt something, I spent most of it rolling my eyes. A good thing about this book that I don’t think enough bully romances do is the revenge aspect.

Can’t put down
I was a little iffy as an adult reading a book like this about teenagers, but it really brought me in and I was taken back to that time in my life and putting myself in the characters shoes. There were times I literally had to set it down for a second I was so overcome imagining how I would of felt as if it had been done to me. Sofia is amazing and now I want to follow where ever she may lead to see what’s in store.

Wow! Loved it!
It’s been awhile since I’ve read a bully romance that actually had a story to it. Great read. My first book/series with this author. One I will for sure follow and see what else she’s written.

A Riveting Romp
A not so typical enemies to lovers high school storyline, which for a change is based in the UK, not the USA.Bullies abound, both male and female with the American newbie girl, Emilia, getting the brunt of the pranks most of which are quite nasty and violent.Yes, things work out, but I'm not giving away any spoilers. However, I did feel the ending was rather rushed, and another few chapters would have been nice to finish the main characters stories off totally

What a story
I really enjoyed all four books in the series. I have been reading back to back and was so grateful not having to wait for the next instalment. Lots of twists and turns. Great read

Too drawn out for me
I got into this story very quickly and had high hopes for it, book one starts off well but I just didn't feel that all three boys were strong enough. Edward came across as aloof and distant, Blake too much of a joker to be considered an alpha...Henry was the only one that kinda did it for me. My other main critism was the language, it was like I had gone back in time, It wasn't believable to have young teenagers using words like 'Trollop' . I understand the characters are supposed to be upper class but really?? Also why do all the English kids have double barrel surnames?? It was if it was written by someone who had never actually lived or been to the UK. Don't get me wrong It was good enough to carry on reading and the overall plot wasn't bad, but by the end of book three I was getting abit fed up....why was it so drawn out and then the final nail for me was that ending? Really???? I won't spoil it for others but let's just say I really wanted the badies to get what was coming to them and I don't feel that happened...sorry.... I've read far better academy bully romances. This came up short for me!Please note this is a review of the box set Kings of Mercia.

Not for me
I stuck with this until close to the end but I just don’t care how it ends. I can’t read any more.I didn’t like any of the characters. It was all too teenage-y for my liking. A lot of filling and repetitiveness. None of it is believable and it’s all written without any depth of emotion to pull you in to caring. It reminded me of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five and their adventures but X-rated. That’s what it felt like I was reading.
