I bought these back in October 2022, so now I have been wearing these daily, to walk my dog, so now I can give my opinion. These were cheap, when I bought them, and I was surprised at just how comfortable they were straight out of the box. After a few days they were more comfortable. (I am a size 9 but went for a 9.5, which was the right fit for me) These are fairly wide fitting. I'm not going on long expedition type walks. I walk my dog daily over semi rough ground. Often very muddy and wet. These have remained comfortable and waterproof, but I'm not plowing through 6 inches of water in them. I have another pair of boots that were very expensive and these compare very favourable with them. Highly recommended for general semi tough terrain.

They were a bit uncomfortable until I broke them in - a little tight around the ankle bone .. but now after wearing them for a while they're great ... I've not gone wading in them yet but they've kept my feet dry while walking in long grass and fields so I'll rate them 5 so far. The soles are a touch slippy on the ground but that could be because they're new and unworn .. but overall really good boots, Would recommend :D

I've held off on reviewing these until I'd put them through their paces which, after 15 months of continuous use, I now have. I wear them multiple times a week for walks of around 6 hours, mostly on stony ground, and the soles have yet to go through. In fact, apart from a couple of worn spots on the heels, they still look largely brand new. There are a couple of small holes in the outer shell where it naturally creases so they're probably not fully waterproof any more but that's the only obvious sign of wear. Even the laces are still fully intact. They're also extremely easy to get on and off and comfortable from the get-go. No blisters!In summary, I think these are great value for money, with a level of comfort and durability that I'd normally expect to pay twice as much for. An excellent option if you need something long-lasting but don't fancy breaking the bank.

Very good value for money, comfy fit and fast delivery! I’ll see how good they are in three months time. Everyone else has said they’ll last the distance, but I’m very confident they will. The sizes are very good too, I ordered a UK 10, and they fit perfect.

Initially these boots seemed quite good, they are light and comfortable in most respects. However quite soon I found they gave me quite a bit of pain on the top part of my toe due to where the crease is in the material of the shoe when it bends with each step. I managed somewhat to correct this by encouraging the crease to lie in a slightly different position. However the biggest problem with these boots is that they are not waterproof. In any significant rain or walking through long wet grass my socks are completely soaked through after a short period of time! They simply should not be labelled as waterproof. Customer service was quite good and I managed to get back a partial refund which is something. However it was not a full refund and I am now left in the original position of having to find another pair of boots that are actually waterproof.Update : Full refund received, customer service very good! I've had these boots about a month and walked through flooded fields, along pavements and today's ultimate test of a very muddy hilly woods. These boots are simply great. My feet are dry and they were fantastic gripping while walking up and down extremely muddy tracks. They are quite wide fitting so getting the laces tightened correctly makes them extremely comfortable. A wash down and they are back to looking great. They seem quite durable , time will tell. Overall I would definitely recommend these boots.

The boot itself is nice …. With a huge but!,For a start they are not waterproof, water resistant yes, I ordered a size 8 and they are way too big for me, ok if I put on several pairs of socks and they are for hiking, I had to put another set of insoles in them to help them fit me, I’m a 7 1/2 - 8 depending on the make.The quality of the boot overall isnt bad and for the price they’re great, they’ll keep your feet warm and dry in light rain or splashing through the odd puddle, prolonged exposure to water will leave your feet wet, I wore these for jet washing and although I didnt jet wash my feet the splashing from the washer soaked through and you could see where water was exiting through the stitching as I walked,For the price though you can’t go wrong, very comfy to wear and cheap to replace

I wear the same size in shoes and boots, and these Nortiv 8 boots is one of the first that is TRUE to size that I have found. Comfort is my word for this boot! The outer soles are quiet. The support is very comfortable. You can lace these to fit snug & secure on your feet, yet the padding keeps them comfortable around your ankle and foot. I wish I had these during my backpacking years as walking is very easy going, light, and I forget I'm wearing "boots"! They may be a little warm during the summer months, but the secure feeling and comfort they provide more than make up for that tiny inconvenience. Besides, I'm wearing boots, not sneakers or sandals! As for longevity.....I don't know that part of the story yet. They appear well made. Double stitched in stress areas, and I liked the value of a relatively inexpensive boot with this level of comfort, that I had to have another pair in a different color! Thus far, I am very happy with this foot ware and the value that Nortiv 8 provides in this style of boot.
