Item worked as advertised. Other purchase never worked until I got this one. Put the two attaching screws loosely so that the planetary gear engagement nob portion can be moved to click match the correct portion on the actuator and then tighten the screws to fix in place. Then, clip the power connector to the actuator. Had to wait five minutes or so after installation of actuator before restarting the car for the automatic temperature control to actually work (maybe a due to reset cycle time??). Short stubby phillips screw driver and portable light source will help. Best.

Came next day and worked like a charm. Toyota one looked to be close to 500 dollars for the part. Hopefully this lasts for a little while.

This was a perfect fit for my 2014 Toyota Sienna LE. Solved the problem that I thought was an A/C issue in the summer and a heating issue this fall. Maybe my A/C unit isn't leaking after all and maybe the blend door actuator was just not diverting AC from the right spot because the actuator motor was dead. It is pretty awkward to get to it, but removing the bottom plastic above the pedals (by your knees) was pretty easy -- I did not totally remove it and only slid it up for better access. I did not disconnect the temperature sensor, so it was easy to put back. Just two 10mm bolts and a few plastic clips.

Fit the bill and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Sidenote: when installing, to line up the teeth... all you have to do is take out the old one, screw the new one in, then push up the white plastic teeth until it clicks in place... It will be aligned just by this, no need to try to line the teeth up (I was paranoid and kept checking) You can confirm by turning the car on and turning the temperature up and down and watching the motion of the actuator and see that the big square tooth in the middle lines up with the cut out. Easy Peasy.... I made it more complicated than it needed to be
