Easy to install
I bought these because I got sick of snaking the gutter downspouts to clear the leaves in it. In California, the rain only comes during a certain time of the year, typically November to April. And come November, just before the first rains hit, I'm on the roof clearing the gutters and snaking the downspouts, which are usually clogged. This time, after the rainy season, I will put these over the downspout opening in the gutter. I'm using this as a way to block the leaves from getting into the downspout from May to October. Then just before the rain comes, I will go up on the roof, blow the leaves and debris out of the gutters with a blower. Then remove these guards and so the drains won't clog up from any new leaves when it rains. After it stops raining in the spring, I will reinstall these.

Does the job
I've tried various gutter guards and they ALL have their weaknesses. So after recently installing new gutters I decided to go naked (no gutter guards). I didn't want large amounts of leaves going down my downspouts and clogging the since mine run into underground drainage pipes. I was hoping these would fit the opening in my gutter at the downspout. The nice thing about these is that you can bend and shape the bottoms to fit your opening. I now use an extension attachment on my leaf blower to clear the leaves from the gutter. I was worried that these guards might be blown out due to the wind speed from the blower but so far so good. I would recommend them

These are awesome!
I had some small exhaust vents coming out of my house that birds would want to nest in and these are the perfect solution! I don't have to drill holes in the stucco and they don't stick out, like you wouldn't even notice unless you were looking for them. Great solution and perfect for small holes, rain gutters, etc...

A screen is needed to prevent drain clogging
These look ok, but I haven’t used them yet. Similar ones worked marginally well. All kinds become clogged and require cleaning.
