Stick with the LG Brand
Definitely spend the extra money and purchase the LG brand filter. I tried another brand with high hopes that it would work as well but was sadly mistaken. Save yourself the hassle and buy this.

Came in a LG box
I haven't used one, but looked at it and they look like the LG one that came with the filter. They also came in the same black LG box so they must be legit.
