I’ve been wearing these to like every event on my college campus. They’re definitely a little difficult to learn how to skate with but they’re still pretty fun and easy to use. Only thing I wish they had is stoppers like most normal skates do. Maybe even like an attachment you hook or screw in place when you want to skate. Cause stopping in these is a little difficult lol

These are such fun shoes/skates! They might be a little heavy for a kid, but for an adult who likes the workout and fun, I think they’re perfect! (especially considering that full roller skates are heavy too!). I’m a teacher and have been having fun having one skate clicked out so that I can scooter/skateboard around on one foot. I was nervous that one of the lights stopped working but it just wasn’t fully charged. The lights are bright and beautiful and these would be amazing at a roller rink! Others have commented on the lack of brakes, but if you skate with only one set of wheels out, you can easily use your foot to stop. Just make sure you alternate which foot you have the wheels out on so you get balanced exercise! Make sure you check the wheels before each use because if you are using them on flat carpet, they do get hair wrapped around them similar to a vacuum cleaner. I’ve been wearing them for a week straight, and now all my students want a pair!

I've tried similar skate+shoes to these and were disappointed. Even tried one-wheel (Heal-y type) and found them too different from regular skating for me to stick with. These worked better than any I've tried- that is not to say that they don't have some major compromises though. You're trading convenience and possible covert skating for comfort and some amount of safety- but overall they work and can be some real fun with practice, depending on your level of skating prowess. The PROS: These look pretty normal, even not bad from a style point of view. The mechanism for deploying or closing the wheels works fairly easily and seems to lock adequately. The wheels, while small diameter do rotate easily on real bearings which are adjustable. The CONS: They are significantly heavier than most any shoes you'd normally wear. They might be less comfortable as shoes since the sole has to be very rigid to contain the wheels, etc. The wheel diameter must be much smaller than most skate wheels, making it more likely to get stopped by any debris. The description of how to open/close the wheels could be much clearer. I haven't had or used them for long enough to comment on their durability but they seem made ruggedly enough to last for awhile. I'd not recommend trying these- at least at first- without wearing a decent level of PPE (personal protective equipment) like pads and especially helmet. With practice you can probably try blending in as a 'normal walker' more- and surprise people with your cool moves !

The beeeestttttt! I’m wearing size 7 and pls pls buy a black. My first choice was white and after not more than an hour of trying it was already dirty so I switched to black. Get it! You will never regret buying it!

The shoe portion itself is high enough quality; they're decently comfortable and sturdy, but they do run narrow. I would normally wear a size 10, but from suspicion I ordered a size 10.5 and they hardly fit my foot width-wise. I absolutely would not recommend the white, they will get FILTHY! Order something dark. The wheels are easy enough to get out but you can't pop them out while standing. If you're sitting down you can kick the heel trigger with the toe of the other shoe, otherwise the button can be difficult to push with your hands, and the same with putting the skates back, they're easy to get out if you lever your foot to put pressure on them, but holding the button to put them back and then trying to force them with your hands is also rather difficult. The largest pitfall for these shoes is the lack of toe stopper. There is a place on the shoe that is thicker and ridged right at the toe which seems like it may be useful to stop, but when the wheels are out the height and angle that the shoes are at makes it unusable. If you want to stop you will have to figure out how to roll to a stop because there is no way otherwise. Do not attempt to stop yourself, you will ruin your skates. Overall, I like them aesthetically, and the idea is novel, but practically they are almost useless. If your city has bad sidewalks you will never be able to use them anywhere but the closest roller rink because the small wheels get snagged in every sidewalk crack, you can't stop yourself regardless of traffic, and they are hard to walk in as regular shoes because the base for the wheels removes any flexibility from the shoe at the point where your foot might normally bend while walking, running, etc. I would give them 2.5/5 overall, and that is mostly dependent on the quality of product being decent even if the design is lacking.

As a person that rollerblades for the past 6 years, when i saw this product i was really excited. Once i put it on there was 2 major issues. 1. Theres not really a solid way to stop yourself. Even of you tried to use one of your shoes as a break (lifting your right foot and tipping it 90 deg forward and putting the nose of the shoe on the ground creating friction right behind the left shoe effectively slowing you down) you just end up falling over face first because (continue to problem 2) 2. The shoes don’t have any ankle support. The smallest force going left right or forward will make you fall/lose balance. I was able to use these a little bit in my house (if i tried these on the road i’d be roadkill by now) and was able to ride them pretty well. The issue is not riding. The issue is stopping and balancing. Even though these are skates and not rollerblades, i was surprised i was having such a hard time balancing while trying to stop (rollerblades have 4 wheels in a single line while skates have 2 wheels on each side, kind of like a car). 3. The safety button. Pushing it in is pretty simple and easy. It does take some force to get it pushed in. If you ever installed a RAM kit into your PC i’d say its about the same force level as that. I would have loved if the button where kind of like switch (you press it once and it stays locked. Press it again and it stays unlocked and also unlocked in a way that the wheels can retract). The reason why i say this is because of the whole balance thing. When both shoes are engaged and wheels are out and the little turn knob is in it’s unlocked position, trying to keep the button pushed in while also pushing down the the back 2 wheels at a ~45 deg angle is tricky. Not impossible, but tricky. If it was just a push once unlock push again lock kind of system that whole tricky park would fade away. You could also technically use that for a breaking system. Quickly step on the 2 back wheels to retract them and start running as fast as you can with your 1 foot lol. If you are going to use these in your house (maybe a mansion) then this is a perfect buy. Skate in your mansion and ride into walls to stop yourself. If you are getting this for any other reason like outdoor use, using them at work, then its a hard no. I would have loved if these worked and the idea is amazing. But they solved the moving feature before the stopping and balancing “feature”…

These are great quality shoes. The wheel pop-out system works well. My son loves them and keeps whizzing around the house, having a blast. Great buy, very happy! Of note, he activates the wheels by kicking the side of the other shoes. Buyers should remember to only do this against the hardest part. The soft parts scar and dent slightly (our fault). Otherwise, no issues.

Shoes arrived earlier than estimated delivery, which is always nice. The pair I received are too big, however the seller was nice enough to send me the proper size! The wheels popped out easily and seemed to be good quality. The button on the back has an arrow that you twist to point up to release the wheels, which is a nice feature so that you can lock the wheels and they won't just pop out unexpectedly. Very excited to receive these in the proper size!

I was very excited to get these shoes and start skate rolling with them, but I was very disappointed when I saw the product. The most obvious is that there’s no box, just the shoes rapped in plastic. Also there’s no spare parts as shown in the product photo which is very misleading. It’s also wide at the heel and slips when walking although I chose my usual size. Now for the major reason I’m dissatisfied with this order, there’s a weird bump in the sole of the right the shoe and it makes skating and wearing these shoes very uncomfortable. I really wanted to like these as they look quite nice but I don’t want it to turn something I enjoy into a hassle and annoyance.
