Pocket Art: Your 100 Day Creative Journey

Fun little books
I have purchased all these little books I can find. They provide a fun way to practice and experiment with media and techniques. They are a good way to get your daily dose of art on busy or uninspired days. You can use watercolor if you are sparing with the water. Colored pencils are great to use. If you use pastels, insert waxed paper between sheets. Markers tend to bleed through the pages. Have not tried collage, but I would be very careful with the amount of glue I used, give the page overnight to dry and use waxed paper inserts. Gel pens work very well. Collect them all and have fun. I am a retiree, but I think teens would enjoy these books, if they love to do art. May gift some in the future to teen grandkids.

Cute but not pocket
It’s a nice idea but it’s definitely not pocket sized.I wouldn’t really know what type of situation this book would be ideal. It’s small for using at home, but big for travel.
