My Airstream Mentor: How to “Airstream” for Beginners & the Well-Traveled

Being a longtime streamer I recognize the value in this book. We are transioning from my husband driving, and I just want to have another viewpoint when faced with issues.

The person I gave it to loved it. He said it really had a lot of good information in it.

This book is a comprehensive guide to assessing, buying and using an Airstream trailer. It adds to other resources already out there and is a good add to them.

New To Airstreams, not RVing. Both husband and I agree a 5 star rating. It is well organized; table of contents, Q&A, and troubleshooting topics were extremely helpful. Jack Hunnicutt’s approach is friendly, but he doesn’t cut corners on safety and security. Also appreciate additional links/references when more detail is desired. Great information about the Airstream community and enjoying the Airstream Life. We are keeping this book close by when traveling.Wish we had this prior to purchase, but extremely glad we have it now.

Jack, thank you for spending the time and energy to pull together the information for this book. As a fairly new AIRSTREAM owner, I have read multiple books and YouTube videos to learn as much as I could about all the various categories / phases of owning an AIRSTREAM trailer from PURCHASE to STORAGE. I will keep this book right next to my tool box in the trailer or in my tow vehicle (TV).

This is my go to resource, I keep this book next to my workstation and if I have a question, I open the book and find my answers. This book helped me to better care foe my airstream, helped me understand what to look for, and items I need to fix and when. Great go to book

Stop: If your intention is to get specific info for an AirStream series RV, this book is not the answer. You can easily remove the word Airstream from its title as it's just a generic "newbie" camping guide. So if you're just starting out, then it's a fairly comprehensive guide of the do's and don'ts. Otherwise move on...
